STRAYKIDS HYUNJIN DECIDES TO GO ON HIATUS
Hello JYP here. We apologize profusely for the bad news we are about to convey regarding Stray Kids Hyunjin. Hyunjin is currently unable to decide whether or not to continue his contract. Due to internal and personal considerations. After discussion, Hyunjin has decided to go on HIATUS until an undetermined time. We, all of JYPE's staff and employees, respect Hyunjin's decision and wish him the best in the future.

My morning started with a shocking email. I sat silently on the edge of my bed after reading the news about my bias' hiatus. I came to my senses after a few minutes of staring at my phone screen. Because today there is a class schedule in the morning, I got up and left the room. My mother had gone who knows where. She is rarely home and I don't know what she is doing out there. I do have parents but my situation can be said to be like a passenger in this house. I am used to earning money for food and my needs. Luckily I got a scholarship at SNU.
I went to college by bus. Every day I listen to Stray Kids songs as my motivation, but today I really don't dare to open my playlist. My feelings are still mixed. I feel regret, sadness, confusion, and disappointment.
Hyunjin pov
"I've decided I'll leave JYP and Stray Kids" I can't believe JYPE won't let me stop being an Idol. After 7 years of working hard, I feel tired of having to meet fans' expectations. They control me as they please, starting from my weight, how I dress, how I interact with members, even how I eat and take care of myself.
"Hyung... think about it again" I.N tried to persuade. We were sitting in a meeting room with members and staff to discuss our work contract as idols that expired a week ago.
"Hyunjin-ah. Have these 7 years meant nothing to you?" Chan looked at me with disappointment. His facial expression reflected disappointment mixed with regret. I don't know what made him feel that way.
"Hyung... I'm tired of going through all this. I just want to be free. Kakian doesn't understand where I am. Among you guys, I'm the one who gets the most hate comments, right? Starting from the way I look, my hobbies, the way I eat, not to mention the death threats that are always there on my birthday. I just want to be calm," I said in frustration.
"HYUNJIN.. I'M TRYING TO PROTECT YOU. YOU KNOW THAT, RIGHT?" Chan raised his voice. It surprised me. But I didn't budge. I looked away afraid that Chan would read my mind and I would waver.
The room was silent for a while. None of the members and staff dared to speak to break the silence.
Chan tried to calm down and start the conversation again. "I know what happened Hyunjin... do you think I'm quiet? Don't underestimate me..." a little threatening tone in his voice.
"Sorry hyung. But I'm still going out. I'm tired."
