Third person pov:

It was a few months after Kanae's death, and Shinobu would still give Kyoujuro death glares every time she saw him.

'Scary....' The fiery haired male thought, as he opened his estate doors.

"Aniki!" Kyoujuro heard a shout. It was his younger brother Senjuro, scurrying towards him like a little mouse.

"Senjuro! How are you?" The older asked, crouching down to his brother's level and placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I'm good, thanks, I have to tell you something Aniki..."

"What is it?"

Kyoujuro was getting worried, had his father done something? Was something wrong? Was Senjuro hurt?

But instead, his younger brother smiled and grabbed something from behind him. It was his father's cape. The one that was passed down the Rengoku bloodline when a Rengoku became a hashira.

"Huh....?" Kyoujuro was confused for a moment, then it dawned on him.

"I became a hashira?!" He exclaimed, a big and happy smile on his face, bigger than usual.

"Yes.... Your crow came in and told me, I don't think it knew you were out,"

"Ah, yes, Kaname... I tend to forget where he went!"

Senjuro giggled, and then asked in a quiet voice, "When can I meet Giyuu-san, Aniki?"

Head canon: If the book is made by me and it isn't Sanegiyuu, then expect that there will be platonic Sanegiyuu. It feels like they would bond over their contrasting personalities and their hate for demons. Even as not a ship, Sanegiyuu is a cute bond. When Sanemi saw that Giyuu defended Nezuko, he got mad at him but eventually let it go and hated on Tanjiro instead. Sanemi sometimes does get mad when Giyuu says he's different, but it wouldn't go to the point where he would hate Giyuu.

"Hm...." Kyoujuro thought, because the last time he saw Giyuu was 2 months ago, to his utter dismay. The other had a mission with the Wind Hashira in the Arctic District, and they were not due to come for at least another 5 days.

It made him slightly jealous that the Wind Hashira got to see Giyuu every day, but he was not possessive of his crush, and Giyuu sent him letters anyways, so he didn't really think much of it.

"Sorry Senjuro! But Giyuu will come in five days, so probably after that!" Kyoujuro said, a happy smile tugging at his lips at how much Senjuro likes Giyuu.

"Ah, Ok."

Senjuro was a bit sad, but he knew that Giyuu had his duties and so will Kyoujuro now that he became a hashira.

"Well, there was a letter attached to Kaname, but I didn't read it, so hear you go,"

Senjuro handed his older brother the cape and letter and ran off to his room.

'Eh? Why did Senjuro run off like that? Anyways...'

Kyoujuro opened the letter, which was from Kagaya Ubuyashiki himself, the master of the corps.
