The aftermath of the incident quickly reached the ears of the school administration. News of the brutal fight and the attempted assault on Taehyung spread like wildfire, and the school had no choice but to take immediate action.

A meeting was held with the principal, coaches, and other school officials. As a result, all those involved in the fight—Jungkook, Minho, and the rugby team members—were suspended for two weeks. The school's decision was swift and harsh, trying to send a message that such violent behavior wouldn't be tolerated, no matter the circumstances.

Taehyung, on the other hand, was given a temporary leave from school. The administration, acknowledging his status as the victim, offered him time to recover both physically and emotionally from the traumatic event. They encouraged him to take the time he needed before returning to his classes.

Taehyung lay on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling as his mind replayed the horrifying events of the assault. The memory of the rugby team pinning him down made his skin crawl, a shiver running through his body as nausea settled deep in his stomach. His head throbbed, and he felt dizzy, overwhelmed by a surge of emotions—fear, shame, and helplessness.

Just as the panic started to rise in his chest, there was a soft knock on the door.

"Taehyung? Can I come in, sweetheart?" his mother's gentle voice called from the other side.

Taehyung wiped away the stray tears that had escaped, his voice barely audible as he answered, "Yeah, come in."

His mother entered the room, her face full of concern as she sat on the edge of his bed. Without needing to say a word, she reached out and stroked his hair softly, her touch bringing a bit of comfort.

"I'm so sorry, baby. I can't imagine how hard this is for you," she whispered, her voice filled with love and worry. She had always been his rock, ever since Taehyung's father passed away when he was just a child. She had raised him alone, giving him all the love and support she could, but moments like this made her feel powerless.

Taehyung didn't speak. He just turned to her, burying his face in her lap as silent tears fell. His mother rubbed his back, whispering soft reassurances, telling him it was okay to cry, that he wasn't alone.

In that moment, Taehyung found a small sense of peace, knowing that despite everything, he still had her by his side.

"Do you want to transfer school?" his mom offered.

Taehyung was silent as if considering the offer, but if he changed schools that would mean he would have to leave Jimin, Yoongi and Jungkook behind. He doesn't want to, Taehyung shakes his head.

After gently offering Taehyung the option to transfer schools, which Taehyung quietly but firmly refused, his mother sat beside him, continuing to stroke his hair in a soothing rhythm. She understood his decision and didn't press him further, respecting his wish to face the situation in his own way.

As the silence settled between them, she hesitated for a moment before speaking softly. "There's... someone downstairs waiting for you," she said with a small smile. "A boy. He's been waiting for a while."

Taehyung looked up at her, confused. "A boy?"

His mother nodded. "I think you know him. He seems worried about you. Do you feel up to seeing him?"

Taehyung's heart skipped a beat. He didn't need to ask who it was—he had a feeling it was Jungkook. Despite everything that had happened, Jungkook had become a constant in his life, someone who seemed to care more than he ever expected.

After a moment of hesitation, Taehyung slowly nodded, sitting up from the bed. His mother gave him a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder before standing up. "Take your time, sweetheart. I'll let him know you'll be down in a minute."
