Today was the weekend so my sisters were not here at the condo because mom also took a day off, but me and my husband still woke up early because we decided to clean.

I could still hear him because he was singing loudly.

And as usual, reggae nanaman ang pinapatugtog niya. Paborito niya kasi 'yong ganoong genre ng kanta.

At ang paborito niyang singer? Si Bruno Mars.

Taking off the bed sheet, I changed it with a new one as well as the pillow cases.

After that, I swept the floor, watered the plants on the balcony, and wiped the picture frames until they were shining with no touch of a single dust.

Dinamay ko na ring linisan 'yong bathroom at walk-in closets naming dalawa because the bedroom was so easy to clean. But after a few moments, I went back there because I remembered missing a spot—the drawers on the bedside table, where I liked to store my random notes sa tuwing hindi ako makatulog sa gabi.

I was so sure that there were crumbled papers there.

I pulled the drawer on my husband's bed side and my hand halted mid air upon spotting a small notebook.

Grabbing it, my brows slightly shot up because it was a recipe list. I flipped through the pages and immediately got familiar with the written recipes because those were the ones my husband invented for me so I'd eat.

The recipes were also ranked into my most and least favorites, which was surprisingly accurate.

I walked toward the door and leaned on the frame without taking my eyes off the notebook, but I could still see my husband feathering a vase like the good house-husband he was.

"Since when did you start writing this?" I asked.

He jumped and placed his hand above his chest because he got startled, and then his brows furrowed in confusion until he understood what I meant because he saw the notebook in my hand.

"Simula noong unang bisita mo sa condo namin ni Kuya tapos ayaw mo ng pancit canton." He chuckled.

He was talking about something that happened six years ago, when we just started dating and he was sharing a condo unit with his twin brother.

I was in 8th grade that time while he was in 10th, kaya medjo hindi pa ako picky sa pagkain ko compared ngayon.

But still, I couldn't believe that he served me pancit canton.

That was literally my first turn off about him so I ghosted him. But obviously, he found me dahil hanggang ngayon ay magkasama parin kami.

"I never left feedback, so how'd you know what I liked?" I asked because the accuracy was crazy.

"Verbal feedback? Hindi na kailangan, love. Halata naman sa facial expression mo kung gusto mo 'yong niluto ko or hindi." He shrugged.

I raised a brow at him. "That's why lagi kang nakatitig sa akin sa tuwing kumakain ako."

A manly laugh broke out from his chest. "Oo na hindi. Tinititigan kita kasi ang ganda mo."

I grimaced at him and rolled my eyes, which earned another chuckle from him.

"I'm going somewhere. Gusto mo sumama?" I asked.

"Syempre. Saan ba?"
