Eight minutes palang ako rito sa club ni Martha ay naka sampong shots na agad ako because the party was for me.
She threw a party for me to celebrate the success of the first collection release, which happened two weeks ago.
Mag cecelebrate naman talaga ako to thank them for endorsing my business, pero ang balak ko ay next month pa dahil medjo busy pa ako.
But here we are now.
I didn't know that the party was for me until I arrived because they welcomed me with a literal red carpet, splashing of wine, and party poppers.
"Yeah, sure!" I spoke loudly to the girl who asked for a picture para marinig niya ako dahil sobrang lakas nung music.
I smiled and posed for a couple of shots until it was done and she thanked me.
I already drank a lot kaya medjo nahihilo na ako at kung sino-sino na ang kinakausap ko.
The lesson I took with Keisha, Tonyo, and Wren on how to be friendly became really helpful because within the time that passed, I had expanded my connections.
And speaking of Wren, he was looking over at me from the bar while chatting with the bartender. He wasn't drinking though because he couldn't handle alcohol. That man has a very low tolerance of alcohol.
Tatlong shots lang, tulog na agad siya.
Stalking my way toward him, I placed myself in between his thighs and leaned on him.
"One tequila, please," I said to the bartender, who immediately made the drink.
"Hindi ako iinom," Wren reminded me because I handed the drink to him.
"Just one." Mas inilapit ko 'yong shot glass sa bunganga niya but he moved away and turned his head to the side to avoid it.
Taking a deep breath, I bottomed up the tequila but I didn't swallow it. Instead, I wrapped my arms around my husband's neck and started kissing him to transfer the liquor onto his mouth.
He was shocked by my sudden, stupid, and bold action, and was forced to open his mouth to capture the liquid on mine.
I didn't stop kissing him even though the liquor was already gone, until he slightly moved away—just enough space for him to talk.
"Lasing ka," he stated while slightly panting.
I shook my head. "Hindi," I denied even though I knew I was drunk because if I wasn't, I wouldn't do this.
Over. my. dead. Body.
But not over my drunk mind and senses.
He was about to talk again but I didn't wanna hear him so I closed the distance of our lips again.
I pressed his cheeks together because he wouldn't open his mouth and wasn't kissing me back, until he surrendered and I was already cradling on his lap.
He wasn't giving in totally and I could feel his grip on my hips getting tighter because he was holding himself back, while I was damn burning.
"Anim na taon kong pinipigilan ang sarili ko, Loreen, kaya mag isip ka nang mabuti," he whispered when he got a chance to part us.
I didn't pay attention to him kaya napamura nalang siya at sinubukan ulit akong palayuin, pero sinabunutan ko siya.
"Uuwi na tayo," he uttered firmly.
I glared at him and shook my head while pressing my body on him even more because I couldn't control it.
He cursed for the second time tonight but I ignored it, and then he spoke again with his jaw a little clenched.
