With the engagement now behind them, Zahra and Hisham focus to preparing their wedding.

Zahra and Hisham began with discussing the essentials: the date, the venue, and the guest list.

In the afternoon, Zahra and Hisham sat together with their families in Zahra's home, reviewing the preparations.

"We should finalize the guest list soon," Zahra's mother suggested as she handed Zahra a sheet of paper. "I know you want a small wedding, but there are a few relatives we can't forget to invite.."

"Mom, I'm already added our closest friends and family."

As they work through the details, Hisham's mother, Salma.. chimed in.

"I was thinking we could prepare small prayer booklets as gifts for the guests. What do you think, Zahra??"

"That's beautiful! I love the idea of sharing to our guests."

A few days later, Zahra and her mother visited the tailor, a woman named Layla. Zahra explained her vision—a flowing, simple gown with intricate lace details, one that would allow her to wear a hijab while still feeling like a bride.

"I want the dress to be elegant but modest.."

Layla handed over the sketch.

"I think this design will suit you perfectly. It's simple but has all the details you're looking for."

In the evening, after a long day of preparations, Hisham sat with his father, Abdullah on the porch of their home.

"Dad, what's the most important thing I should focus on as I prepare for marriage?"

"Hisham, marriage is a partnership. It's not just about love— it's about commitment, sacrifice, and most of all.. mercy."

"Thank you, dad.. Insha'Allah."
