My name is Hope, and I want to share my story with you. I know you might think this is not real, that it is just my imagination, but for me it was real and it did happen. These might be my last words so I write them down so someone knows the truth to what happened to Hope Star.
My story begins at the first day of high school. I walk through the big school doors and make my way down the freshman hallway. As I find my locker, Seth was leaning against it.
His dark hair is just barely in his blue eye's and his jaw line looks relaxed, but he looks nervous.
I shake my head and walk up to my locker. When he notice I was finally there he said "Hey Hope, can we talk?"
I looked at him, confused. "I don't understand why anyone would talk to me," I said looking down at the ground.
"I would," He said with a smile on his face.
I just looked at him waiting for him to laugh at me. However, he did not. He just stood there smileing at me.
So sighing I asked, "what do you want to talk about?"
"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me?" He asked.
Stunned, I stood there with my mouth hung open wide. His smile grew even bigger and he then closed the gap that was between him and myself. I just bearly reached his shoulders when he then brought his hand up to my chin and said, "Now how am I going to kiss you with your mouth open like that?"
Before I could say anything, he brought his mouth to mine. His lips were soft, softer than I expected. I kissed him back and when I do, I can feel him wrapping his arms around me. For the longest time I thought this would never happen. That I would go on being a nobody, but for the moment, I feel like a somebody.
When the bell rang, we pull apart and he asked me again, "So, would you go on a date with me?"
Not able to talk I nod my head. With that, he got an even bigger grin on his face and kissed me again before running off to class.
Forgetting about my locker, I walk to my first hour. I walked in the class and the first thing that happens is Sarah Leo. She is Seth's ex-girlfriend. She is the type of girl where every girl wanted to either be her or be her friend. (Well not every girl.) She was more wicked then anything. I do not evvy her. She knows it too. If I would know any better, I would say she was the jealous type. When I walked into the classroom, she did not loom too happy to see me. "Hey Hope' come sit by me!" She called over to me.
I looked at her with a confused look. However, I walked over and sat down.
"Hey girl, I'm so glad you came and sat by me. I just wanted to talk to you about Seth. I know he likes you and all, but he's still mime, so if you could back off of him that would be great.""Look Sarah, I am not going to let you push me around anymore. You are not my friend anymore and to tell you the truth, what I see with your 'friends' is that they aren't really your true friends. More like people who have nothing better to do with their lives' so they fine someone like you to fill that neediness of feeling powerful. So please leave me alone, because you're not going g to like the out come of messing with me this year."
Her mouth dropped opened, no one has very talked to her like that before, and as she was about to say something the teacher told her to be quite and move across the room.
Class went by very fast, it seemed time was on my side. Second hour was English with Mr. Wolf. I like English, it is one of my favorite subjects in school. I love to do creative writing. I love the way I get lost with in a story I am writing.
When I walked into Mr. Wolf's English class the first person I see is Seth.
"Hope' come over here," he calls.
