It was 6 am and Dalilah was trying to catch some sleep. Adam was having another restless night. Between his urge to go to the washroom multiple times and his body's inability to regulate its temperature, his nights were rough and so were hers. She needed to help him in and out of bed and walk him to the washroom and back, sometimes supporting him in the process as he seemed barely able to keep his balance. They had installed grab bars but some days it seemed like they were hardly enough. She usually assisted him spontaneously, before he even asked, and had a lot of compassion for what he was going through. She knew his needs and catered to them. But right now, that accepting mindset and resilience were eluding her. She felt tired and irritable. "What time is it?" he asked her. Dalilah resented the question. She was exhausted, could not open her eyes and felt that grabbing her glasses and looking at her phone on the nightstand next to her bed required an effort beyond her present ability to do anything. Why did Google phones have such small clock numbers on the screen anyway? She never needed to use her glasses before with her previous phones just to check the time in the dark. She thought about sending them feedback but just the idea of it made her feel even more tired. No energy for that extra work. "It's six am." she said curtly, hoping he will go back to sleep and not ask her for anything else. " My feet are frozen. It's biting cold." Dalilah was feeling warm, almost hot. She kept the A/C at a very high temperature and on automatic, so it was mostly off. But she understood what he meant. She dragged herself out of bed and covered Adam with the comforter. Then she tried to go back to sleep. "There is no difference whatsoever. The comforter is cold." he said five minutes later. "There's really nothing I can do about that," she said, frustrated that her efforts were not paying off and mad at herself for losing patience. She was dreaming of a restful couple of hours of sleep and it seemed like she was denied that bare minimum. She knew that she was at the end of her rope and desperately needed rest, peace and quiet. She finally passed out, out of sheer exhaustion.
When she woke up at 8am she could hardly keep her eyes open. Adam had a biological clock that allowed him to wake up at the same time everyday regardless of how tired he was and how little sleep he got. For the first ten years of their marriage, it was 6 am. Which was devastating for night owl Dalilah who dreamt of one more hour of sleep. Now that he was retired and sick, he woke up everyday at 8 am or a little before. She gave him his medication and started preparing breakfast. She was half asleep and functioning on autopilot. On the other hand, Adam was wide awake and particularly demanding that morning. He wanted to change slippers a couple of times because of his balance, was not sure that he liked the smoothie she prepared for him and was questioning her about the ingredients, and to her utter dismay, not only did he try to pass on his daily oatmeal intake which helped him with digestion, he also completely refused to take the post breakfast medication, as if he had not been taking it for years. Dalilah tried to stay calm. She reminded him that his sense of taste had been off for almost 2 years, that if he rejected his oatmeal he would be bloated and constipated and that he had been taking the same medication for years now. What had changed all of a sudden?
That's when she noticed that she was actually raising her voice and her usual empathy was overpowered by frustration. What was up with her? Maybe she was tired and would be better in the afternoon, after she had a chance to take a nap. Nothing changed in the afternoon. She still felt irritable. She tried to go easy on herself and wondered if she would be back to her normal self the day after. No change. She was stressed, but most importantly, she could not feel anything for Adam at that particular moment and she wanted to go somewhere very far where she could just be by herself. Just what was going on with her? She could not burn out from one day to the other. That just did not make sense. It was like a switch was turned off in her heart and she could not recognize herself.
That's when she suddenly remembered Ursula and her demonic schemes. She put one hand on her heart chakra, closed her eyes and went into a meditative state. Sure enough, she felt Ursula rolling her hips to form the shape of a python around it, effectively closing her heart chakra to the point of losing all patience with her husband, let alone answer his needs. She took a deep breath and proceeded to clear the malevolent energy from her heart. She visualized a divine bright light that went through her first horizontally through her entire body and then vertically, through her crown chakra and cleansing every part of her until it went through her feet, like one big plus sign. As the light reached her heart chakra, she literally felt an explosion of energy and a sizable malevolent entity leaving her body.
Truly, Ursula was the most evil creature on the planet! Not only was she actively trying to unalive Adam, she wanted Dalilah to disconnect with him emotionally in order to inflict maximum damage, leaving him vulnerable to her psychic attacks on him. Thankfully, Dalilah caught it early and reversed it as soon as she recognized that feeling of disconnect. It had happened with Adam a few times after Josh had ordered macarons from her. Ursula wanted to separate Dalilah and Adam in order to kill him faster and cause her heartbreak. Seeing people suffer gave her a high, as the true psychopath that she was.
That urge to separate her from her husband also made very little sense. On the one hand, she wanted to make sure that Dalilah and Josh never talk to one another, and on the other, she was trying hard to break up her couple. What in the world? Wasn't it in her best interest that she and Adam stay happily married? No. Not in the mind of a vindictive and vengeful Ursula who wanted Dalilah to suffer in every area of her life. She put love spells on her so that she would get attached to Josh, then put a python around their hearts in order to destroy a beautiful connection.
How cruel and Machiavellian was Ursula? Dalilah was going to find out right away. Using her pendulum, Dalilah decided to check how many times Josh himself had put a love spell on her and she came up with the figure one. She also decided to check if he had ever done the same to other women and got the answer: No. It was his first time. A newbie to spellwork. Perhaps led to it by the satanic whispers of Ursula. Then, Dalilah checked how many times Ursula had sent her love spells with Josh at the receiving end of her love and the answer was a stunning FIVE times!! Ursula kept unfolding like a poisonous flower.
