My first movie in years and this guy just had to be in heat and all over me.
After knowing his true plans for booking these seats, I didn't feel like finishing the movie anymore. I kissed him too on an impulse. I liked it, sure. But it didn't really feel right. He was teasing me so much that it felt like I had to do something to put him in his place.
We went out halfway through the movie and decided to just go back to my place. I was still kind of upset since I didn't get to finish watching it, it really looked promising too. We went to the convenience store to buy some drinks and snacks, I paid for it this time since he's been paying for everything this entire day.
I could tell he was zoned out and lost in thought as he looked rather confused---as if trying to figure something out. He didn't even notice me calling out his name a few times.
"Mingyu? Are you okay?"
"Huh? Were you saying something?" What is he thinking? He doesn't look that well either.
"I said come in. I called your name 3 times already."
"Okay."
He walked in rather timidly as if it was his first time being here.
"What's wrong with you? Do you want to take a dump or something?"
I walked past him and placed the bag of drinks and snacks on top of the table in the living room area. Since we just walked around, I guess we should settle down first with some drinks to relax.
"What are you just standing there for?" He looked a bit anxious for some reason.
"Huh? Nothing, are you sure you're not mad at all?" He sat down beside me on the couch and opened himself a can of soda while waiting for my reply.
"If you keep interrogating me like this, I might be." I glared at him and clicked my tongue as I remembered the movie I just abandoned earlier.
"Do you want me to leave then?"
"Would you leave if I told you to?"
"No."
"Then why bother asking then? Just stay here and entertain me. The night is still young, the date isn't over just yet." I gulped down on my can of soda and glanced over to his direction wondering why he got quiet.
"You're red again."
"Ah--sorry, I must be drunk."
"Are you an idiot?" I looked down on the can he was holding just to be sure.
"What?"
"That's soda you're drinking. How the hell do you get drunk with soda?"
"Huh? Right....umm so what are we gonna do now?"
"Hmm? I figured we could just have drinks and snacks, maybe watch another movie here. Why?"
He took his sweet time giving me an answer. The silence that was filling the space around us started to get thicker. So apparent, that I started hearing faint drums pounding from somewhere in the room. A minute passed and we still sat there silent, drinking our sodas. The drums, just getting louder. I shifted my ear to get a good listen and finally figured out where it was coming from. When I turned my head towards his side, there he was...just a few inches from me, with a flushed look on his face.
"What? Why are you suddenly leaning in so close?"
"Uh--it's just--it's because it's a little dark here. I wanted to see your face more clearly."
I studied his awfully honest face. The drumming sounds I heard earlier just got even louder. Is it coming from him? Before I could even take a moment to process what I was thinking, I moved my face closer to his chest and pressed my ear on him.
"Are you having a heart attack or something? Why is your heart beating so fast?"
He quickly pushed me back with both his hands and started muttering to himself while avoiding eye contact.
"Sorry I must've invaded your personal space there."
"No---I'm sorry. It's because of me---"
His grip on both my shoulders started to tighten. I could feel him shaking a bit as he continued to mutter under his breath all by himself.
"Hey! Speak up. I can't hear a word you're saying."
He finally looked up with teary eyes. His face was washed with all kinds of emotions. Embarrassment, guilt, sorry...lust? For some reason my gut told me to look down...and I regretfully did so.
"I see~ you want to pick up where we left earlier?"
