Rory's POV
I was sitting down eating my cereal in the kitchen
Suddenly Hailey runs into the kitchen
"WHAT WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME" yelled Hailey at me
"tell you what?" I ask confused
Hailey holds up the business card Rick Riordan gave me
"WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME MY FAVORITE AUTHOR WANTED YOU TO AUDITION FOR THE ROLE OF LAILA" Hailey yelled Again
"I don't know I just think it wasn't that big of a deal" I say eating my Honey Nut Cheerios
"NOT A BIG DEAL!!!!!!!! "
"What's going on" asks my mom coming into the kitchen
"RORY DIDNT TELL ME ABOUT THE FACT THAT MY FAVORITE WRITER WANTS HER TO AUDITION FOR ONE OF THE MAIN PARTS OF HE BOOK" yelled Hailey getting louder
"Shh your going to wake up max" I say trying to get her to quiet down
"Just look at this" says Hailey handing mom the business
"Rory, what this?" Asks my mother confused
"It's a card to audition for a show " I say eating my cereal acting like it wasn't a big deal
But I knew it was
I just didn't want to get my hopes up
"Well I think you should try it" says my mom grabbing her car keys and kissing me and Hailey on the forehead
"I don't know" I say still deciding
"You never know unless you try" says Hailey with a smile
"That's right honey, well I'm off to work " says my mom " your sister will be back later to take care of you, if you want to go to the audition she can drive you"
And with that she leaves shutting the door behind her
"Well...." Hailey says excited to hear my answer
"Fine" I say with a sigh
"YAYY" Hailey cheers jumping up and down
" that doesn't mean I'll get the part" I say to her
"But you could" Hailey says
I roll my eyes and continue eating my cereal
