A/N: By the way the picture is Lauren in an episode of Law and Order, but I thought it would work anyways!

The best part about being pregnant, is that I got to lay in bed all day and be lazy. Not that I had a choice when I was eight months pregnant with twins. Even going to the bathroom was a struggle and Steven had to help me. Basically Steven had to help me with everything, but neither of us minded at at, it only meant we could be together and closer more often.

We were staying in my house that was in London for when I visit family and I felt bad because we couldn't really do any fun things since I was so pregnant. I kept telling Steve how sorry I was but every time he would reply saying that as long as he was with me, it didn't matter.

"Steven?" I asked as I was laying in his arms on the couch downstairs. "What time is it?"

He lifted his arm from my huge stomach and looked at his watch. "Three fifty four," he answered before wrapping that arm back around me. He already knew what I was worrying about before I even said it. "Don't worry Laur, I'll tell you when it's time to take that medicine. You just relax, babe." I nodded slightly as I felt his lips kiss my temple.

"I'm sorry, I just want our babies to be as healthy as they can be," I said, gazing at the TV which neither of us were really paying attention to.

"I know, Laur. You've been amazing so I'm sure they will be perfectly fine," Steven reassured me, causing me to relax a bit. "But you reminded me that I have to go pick up one of your prescriptions in a little bit." I opened my mouth to say something but Steven spoke first. "Don't you even offer to go. You need rest."

"Okay fine," I said like a little kid.

Then I felt a contraction coming on, making me start to breathe heavily. I felt Steven tense up so I said something before he could. "I'm fine, it's just a contraction." I clenched my teeth together in pain while Steven gently rubbed his hand over my stomach.

"I'm sorry," he sighed.

"For what?"

"I'm sorry that you're in pain and I can't do anything to help," Steven answered.

I propped myself up on my elbow and took his hand with my other free arm, lacing our fingers together. "You're here with me, holding me, and that's enough. It'll always be more than enough."

"C'mere." He helped me scoot up and brought a hand to the back of my head, bringing my lips onto his. I suddenly pulled away when I felt another huge jolt in my stomach. My eyes darted down at my stomach as the pain continued.

"It's okay, I'm fine," I groaned quickly. Steven knew not to argue with me at that moment so he just nodded.

"You two stay in there until your due date," he said, touching my stomach with his pointer finger. I laughed and tangled my fingers in his hair.

I must have fallen asleep in his arms because I was soon awoken by the feeling of Steve's lips on mine. "Hmm?"

"I've got to go get your prescription," he whispered against my lips. "So I'll be right back soon."

"M'kay." I sat up and rubbed my eyes before Steven kissed my temple. "Love you," I yawned.

"I love you more." With that, I heard the door shut and the car pull out of the garage.

As another contraction came along, I cried out in pain, desperately wanting it to stop. "Ow," I said to myself. Slowly, I stood up and made my way over to the stairs to go get the pain medicine in the upstairs bathroom.

"Here we go." I started to very, very, very slowly step up the stairs. "Ahh!" I screamed while another contraction hit and suddenly I felt pressure in my lower region. "Oh my god!" I had never felt so much pain in my life when a liquid started running down my leg. My hand felt around for my phone and I quickly dialed Steven's number.

"Hey, Laur!" Steven said happily.

I couldn't even make out a sentence. "AHHHH!"

"LAUREN?! LAUREN WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" He asked frantically.

All I could say was, "BABIES!"
