Waking up the next morning it took a moment for me to realise where I was and whose arms I was in.

I look up at Sam's sleeping face and take it in.
He looked so peaceful and relaxed as he breathed calmly I smile running my fingers through his hair before laying my head back onto his chest "you could come home with me" his deep morning voice broke through the silence as I felt his arms tighten around me "i could... but I'm only gone for four more days" he sighs and I look at him, his eyes now open as he looks at me "four days too long" I smile softly "do you have to go?" He brushes a loose stand of hair out of my face "I've got to freshly phased wolves back at home... the leech jumping in and out of the border ... the Cullens are back" he said the last part with disgust and I sigh resting my head back on his chest "this sucks" he says like a child making me laugh "you sound like my daughter when I say no to ice cream" I feel his chest shake as he rubs my arms "maybe I should team up with Niki against you" I scoff sitting up straight "I would win" he smirks "you Lahotes so competitive" I poke my tounge out and hear my phone ring smiling it was time for my morning call with Nikita

"morning mama!" She calls out as her little face pops up on the screen  I smile "morning my baby how did you sleep"  she smiles "I had a dream that i was friends with a very nice wolf and you and uncle Paul and Sam were there and the wolf had brown fur!" She states excitedly and I feel my heart drop slightly I look over at Sam who was already looking at me I frown at him and he raises an eyebrow I look back to the phone "that sounds wild niki" she nods "it was so cool mum and the wolf was my best friend" I laugh "I wish I had a wolf best friend" she smiles "did you have a dream last night mum?"  I nod "I did" she bounces up and down "what happened" "you and I were on a cruise with all of the Disney princesses" she scoffs "are you lying to me mum?" I laugh as she frowns "you had a dream about a wolf but my dream is a lie?" She pokes her tounge out  and I hear her grand mother call out to her  and she smiles "I've gotta go mum , uncle Danny is here bye!" And the phone hung up making me look at Sam  who was lost in thought frowning "Sam" he looks at me and his face softens "you okay?" He nods "yeah um... yeah I'm fine.. wild imagination she has hey?"  I frown  and raise an eyebrow "you don't thinks it's supernatural?"  He says nothing and I look down trying to make sense of Sam's world "hey Sky I promise I'll ask the elders if sure it's nothing" I nod  sighing  reaching over to touch his cheek before my phone rings again and I sigh happily  kissing him quickly "and it begins"

5 hours later I was in hair and make up the boys had left for Washington and I was about to go onto jimmy Kimmel  to perform a song off my new album. "How was your visit?" Alice asked and I smiled softly "I think it's what I needed" she nods smiling softly "I love seeing you so happy after everything" I smile and look down "I keep thinking it's too good to be true"  i shake my head laughing "he is too good to be true"  I look up and she nods "that's how I feel when I'm with Jazz" her eyes sparkle and then she looks to the door "speak of the devil" a moment later Jasper walks in the room "here you go Sky I got you a blueberry and mango smoothie" I smile taking it off him "ah Jasper your quickly becoming my favourite Cullen" he laughs and Alice rolls her eyes pecking his cheek "thank you Jazz" something I've always loved about Alice and Jasper was their love for each other, no matter how long they had been together Jasper constantly had eyes only for Alice she was the light of his life he smiles and looks at me "I hate to say it Skylar but gosh you stink like a dog today" I roll my eyes  "and your looking extra deathly" he chuckles  and nods "touché"  Alice smiles at our banter and sighs "okay we have this  appearance and two more interviews then your press tour is over and you can go hang with the wolves for now I need both of your focus"  I nod and she smiles happily as she gains my attention "don't strain your voice out there, you have fun and make sure your grounded" I nod taking in her words.

When I first hired Alice my manager questioned it but she was so much more than a stylist she grounded me and kept me in touch with my try feelings making sure I took in each moment.. I took a deep breath and close my eyes before opening them with a wild grin "show time"
