"Remember we told you that bad things would happen if you woke up early, some of those bad things can include bringing whatever the hell that figure in the hospital was into our reality!" Jimmy yelled. Jimmy was mad that Web Runner had woke up early, but he understood what could have happened if he didn't. "I have to go, I'm sorry." Web Runner said immediately after the incident. That's when the lights in A-Corp tower building all shut off. "CODE BLACK, UNKNOWN ENTITY IN THE TOWER!" Came across the intercom of the whole building. "I'll look for it, get somewhere safe." Web Runner said. "Sir, I really don't think that's a good idea right now with your mental stability the way it is right now." Said a rookie scientist. "What the hell did he just say?" Web Runner asked. Nobody responded. They were too scared to respond. Web Runner saw a vent that was big enough for him to fit in close to the ceiling. He jumped up on the ceiling and then crawled through the vent door. "Why does it smell so bad in this vent?!" Web Runner said to himself. He then ran into an empty hallway under the vent door he was in. He dropped into the hallway out of the vent. "Let's see you big ugly piece of shit, where are you hiding?" Web Runner said. The figure turned the corner of the light flickering hallway, and Web Runner went straight for it. The figure had long arms, and it hit Web Runner before he could reach it, then it ran off. "Damn it! I had that thing right in front of me! I could have killed it right then and there!" Web Runner exclaimed angrily. The lights in the tower turned back on a few seconds later. "Frick, that thing just went out into the city, it must like the dark, everywhere it goes it turns dark." Web Runner said. Web Runner found a window on the 70th floor of the building. "Perfectly good window, be a shame if someone... jumped out of it!" Web Runner said jokingly as he flew out the window. Him and shattered glass had now just hit the city ground. Web Runner started by looking in the darkest places in the city, subway stations, alleys, every dark crevice. But no, he found it in the city park pond. "It must like water too, it sits in the deepest water it can find." Web Runner whispered to himself being in close proximity to the figure. He ran across the water with his pure speed and then hit the figure with a punch. It fell into the water and disappeared, it never came back out of the water. Web Runner then returned to A-Corp tower, where he had to figure out the last piece of the puzzle, how to end the dreams and reality mixing. His new mission was to secure reality. Kill anything that isn't from this world.
