So I know it's been a long time since I have updated but here you all are!!!!

- Lauren -

I tried my hardest to keep a calm face as I sat in a chair outside of the Headmaster office waiting for Seth to be ready to go. I got a text as soon as riding lessons ended from him saying that he'd be a while and to come to him. (With a few reminders to be safe of course). Then as soon as I got there the schools new guards were walking Luke and Seth both into the office together.

And I thought he was supposed to be the level headed one.

Finally I headed the door knob turn and looked to see Luke walk out first, a slight smile on his face as he only gave me a quick glance before walking out. Seth came out a few seconds later, his face blank.

"What happened?" I asked him.

"Nothing to worry about, apparently mister perfect can't help the fact I can play football better than him." Seth shrugs my question off, but with the way he didn't quite meet my gaze I knew he was lying. I wouldn't push him though, not for right now at least.

"Why don't we take a day off?" I suggest. "I only have to finish an essay for homework which is something that I could do just before bed. Why don't we go hang out at the pool? Or go bowling?"

Seth glances to me before saying, "sure. Let's do it."

—————

"Here you two go! Enjoy!" The man at the counter hands us our bowling shoes after we pay.

Walking over to our ally we sit down to put our shoes on.

"I'm totally going to win," I challenge.

"We will see," Seth says as he finished tying his shoes. Still stiff from earlier.

I pick up my ball and walk up to the ally, tossing the ball I watch as it rolls down the path and hits five pins. One more in the second round.

"Amazing." Seth says sarcastically.

My grin only widens, "I'm just getting warmed up. Scared?"

At that Seth let out a huff, "only for a few things."

As he tosses the ball I watch it go and hit eleven pins.

Seth shrugged raising an eyes brow jokingly, "good luck?"

I roll my eyes, "just wait until next round."

He won again. And again. All the way until last round when I had 248 and he had 250.

"Worried?" He asks.

"In your dreams," I walk up to the ally and got ready to toss the ball when I heard familiar laughter.

Stoping my head snaps in then direction of the sound and I see Luke, Vanessa, and a few of their friends who's names I didn't know walk in to the counter. As they get their shoes I take notice of Luke's arm over Vanessa's shoulder as they get their shoes and I feel a bang of sadness in my stomach. Why do I feel like this? Before the academy boys were the least of my worries. Why is this so difficult now?

Pushing my focus back to the ally I toss the ball and it rolls down the path. But I didn't get to see it hit all twelve pins as I hear a scream.

So quick question, do you guys like that I'm adding a bit more romance into this book? Or should I slow it down?

Do you all want to see more of Lauren and Percy together? More of Percy's backstory?

Also get ready because I'm going to be having a Seth and Lauren chapter POV's together! (With some good old fun drama!) so hang on! 😉
