Abhir wipes off his suit apace with a tissue to run behind the girl.

"Hey, listen Miss Vaanu—"

"I am not your Vaanu, Mr. Agnihotri," Vaanya jerked to turn around and pointed a finger straight at Abhir's forehead as he was so close to her.

Glaring at the male, Vaanya didn't pull back her hand until Abhir surrendered by lifting his arms up in mid air to calm the lady down.

"Okay okay, then you tell me what's your name? How should I address you miss—?"

"Miss. Vaanya. Birla." Vaanya emphasized each and every letter of her name, eventually pulling back her finger from Abhir's forehead and letting him breathe.

He loosened his tie and breathed in.

"Fine, miss Vaanya, let's go inside and have a chat, okay?" Abhir tired to convince but Vaanya glared again.

He knew here— how it might work, so using the word that his tongue isn't really aware of, he makes a sympathy earning face and said...

"Ziddi kahi ki, dekh lunga isse baad me ache se," he thought to himself before vocalising the least used word from his mouth.

"Please..."

And with a heavy heart, he requested the fuming lady in front of him.

"Why? Why are you still so adamant to talk to me, huh?" Vaanya questioned as she couldn't perceive why the male was still dreaming to converse with her. Did he forget about their past or something?

"See, we both are here cause I'm sure even you don't want this marriage as much as I don't, right? But our parents suggested to meet each other so there must be a reason,"

Abhir stated but Vaanya snapped back.

"Yes, and the reason is foolish, that we should get settled early in life," and she lied.

Vaanya is the one who believes it's okay to get married early, by 25 perhaps, have kids by 30 so when you're old, you don't have to worry about your children being young when you're old yourself, nearing your death.

But she had to lie because she cannot let him win in front of her ego that she has from their first meeting back in the hills.

"Okay, fine, then what are you gonna tell your parents when you go back? You need a reason to justify going back home without having a word with me, right?" Abhir yet again made a point but Vaanya in her high strung state, didn't know what to answer properly.

"Easy, I'll tell them you're not my type," Vaanya folded her arms in front of her chest, looking away from Abhir.

"And they'll be convinced by that? Seriously? You think they won't pester you any further to meet me again and build a bond with me?"
