I pushed open the door to the drawing room after a long carriage ride. Then I see someone new.
Someone I haven't met before, sitting a little close to Killian.
Her hair was a strawberry blonde, and her smile looked as sweet as sugar. She is cute.

She didn't even notice I walked in. "You must be Cora."
I stated. "And you are?"
Her smile slipped slightly into a confused frown. "I am Killian's coworker. Dame Robin Griffin. I needed a place to stay." I look down at the tea and cookies.
"Was I interrupting?" They both frantically denied and ask me to sit down and I do so.
"Robin this is my fiancée, lady Cora. She is currently teaching in one of the schools and the daughter of the baron."
It takes time for to absorb the fact that he is about to be married. I would be lying if I didn't say i wasn't slightly jealous of her. She looks like she has everything figured out. Probably has a family to go home to. What a nice dress and here I am sitting her in battle armor.

"You must be respected then because of your family I mean."
"My family doesn't do much, they helped out with the recent tournament." She looked so smug. Not even looking at me when saying that.
"you mean the knightly torment? I was recently in that tournament. It was kind of boring if you ask me. "
She looked at me almost horrified. "You mean at the tournament?" I leaned back. "No, I won the tournament.
All by some fluke." I mumbled the last part not expecting her to her it. "Fluke?" Killian doesn't seem too shocked.

I look away from them. Just thinking of how I won pissed me off. I looked outside and see the moon. "It's getting late. I should head to bed."
I stomped to the two Doors. I halted and turned.
"By the way, you should tell your servants to limit their gossiping. It kinda got on my nerves."

I spoke before walking out of the door. My fist grip the now broken door knob. My face tightened and my nose scrunch.
I let go of the metal handle and look at my hand.
After asking myself why I am so mad I hear someone approaching me, my head turned to see the dark duke.
"Where is it?" The grand duke asked me. I had no idea what he was talking about. "I don't know-"  he looks angry
"Quit lying. I can see your nose growing."
My jaw is on the floor. "Killian told me you have it. I will find it." I shrugged off his words.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I try to walk past him but then he grabs my arm. "Where is it?"
I pull my arm out of his. "I don't know what you are talking about but leave me alone."
I walked away without looking back. I what could I possibly have that he wants?

I pull out the my mom's music box from the drawer. It starts to play a classical song but in a creepy way. He couldn't possibly want this could he?

I look at the two people dance inside it. It's cute but how did mom get something like this? There's nothing in the box so what could he want with it?
Then I hear a click. Something pops open when the song ends. I open the compartment completely and see a ring. I hold the emerald Jewel in the tip of my fingers.
I look at the carving inside the ring. "To my one and only queen?" I said to no one but myself. I didn't mind the
Silence that lingered while I was looking down at the mysterious ring.
