Author's Note: I'm not a poet and I've never written poetry before so please don't be too harsh while commenting. :)

You cleansed your body of dirt

and your house of cobwebs.

What about the ones in your heart?

Will you save them for another day?

Leaving the real you on the shelf

you go on fooling the world with your lies

Washing conscience from your skin

and letting the tower of sins rise.

You make promises as if you really mean it

Forging lie and making me believe it

I see you found some pretty words to say.

Is this just another game to play?

And if I let you feed on my soul again

Will you smile your truest smile?

(Is there anything true about you at all?

'Cause the only truth I heard you say is a lie)

You're walking, without being led

You're just another frozen dead

Just another prisoner victimized

whose dreams are painted in black and white.

And one day you will catch cold

from chills that enfold your soul

Made of skin and flesh you are

but inside, hollow as a sepulchre.

I know somewhere deep inside

you can still separate wrong from right.

You just choose not to believe

as I chose not to give up on you.

Some have imprisoned themselves with love

You shackled yourself with hate

And in this unfaithful way

you penned down your own fate.

As the darkness engulfs

As your world fades to black

You find that there's no turning back

from the demise that awaits you.

And you don't cry

You've never done before

Only a fake laugh, and a fake smile

A fake rebuttal for your real lies.

You sit back, confused you watch your tower collapse

see others you thought believed

turning their backs, deceived.

You aren't the you they perceived.

Your lie perhaps too large for this small world

leaves you with little but memories.

Soon enough they will become scars

not on my body this time,

but yours.

A/N: Review and make this girl happy? :)
