Nina’s eyes darted around the room until they landed on Jack, a younger colleague who had always admired her from afar. With a slight nod, she signaled to him. He caught her eye, stood up, and followed her out of the dining area.

They stepped into the dimly lit hallway, where Nina wasted no time. "Jack, I need your help," she said, her voice low and smooth.

"Anything for you, Nina," Jack said eagerly, his heart racing. He had been waiting for a moment like this, a chance to get closer to her.

Nina leaned in, her voice dripping with false sweetness. "If you help me with this, maybe we can go on a date sometime. What do you think?"

Jack's eyes lit up. "I'd love that," he replied, his eagerness blinding him to the darkness of what he was being pulled into.

Nina handed him a bottle of water and a small packet of powder. "I need you to take care of something for me. Sophia's had too much to drink. Lead her out, give her this water, and make sure she drinks it. Once she’s dazed, take her to room 801. There are… friends waiting for her there."

Jack looked at the bottle and the powder. "What’s in it?" he asked, his voice wavering slightly.

"Don't ask questions, Jack. Just do as I say," Nina snapped, her eyes cold. Then she softened her tone. "If you really want to be with me, this is how you can prove it."

Jack nodded, stuffing the items in his pocket. "I’ll do it."

"Good," Nina said with a satisfied smile. As Jack turned to leave, she pulled out her phone and dialed a number. "Are you in room 801?" she asked, her voice businesslike. "Good. Stay there and wait. She'll be with you soon. Don't disappoint me. I've already sent the deposit, and you'll get the rest once it’s done. And don't forget to take the videos."

She hung up and tucked her phone away, heading back to the dining hall with a practiced smile on her face as if nothing had happened.

Inside, Jack made his way toward Sophia, who was leaning heavily on Emily, her assistant. Sophia’s eyes were slightly glazed from the amount of alcohol she had consumed, but she still managed to laugh and wave off Jack’s approach.

"Miss Blackwell," Jack said with concern in his voice, "you’ve had a lot to drink. Let me help you. I can drive you home."

Sophia waved him off. "I’m fine, really. I have a driver waiting for me," she slurred, her words slightly uneven. She knew Alexander was in the room, watching her closely, and didn’t want to leave with Jack. Her intuition screamed that something wasn’t right.

Emily stood up to support Sophia, placing an arm around her. "I’ll take care of her, Jack," she said, her tone firm. "I’m her assistant, after all."

But Emily had underestimated the toll the drinks had taken on her too. She swayed slightly, barely holding herself up as she tried to lead Sophia toward the exit.

Jack saw his chance. "You’re not doing much better yourself, Emily. Let me help both of you. You can’t even stand straight."

Sophia, feeling a bit dizzy, nodded. "Fine, Jack, help me to the parking lot. Someone will pick me up from there."

Jack’s heart raced as he guided Sophia toward the door. This was going exactly according to Nina’s plan. Once they were out of sight, he uncapped the bottle of water and, with shaking hands, poured the powder inside. He held it out to her. "Here, Miss Blackwell, drink this. It’ll help clear your head."

Sophia blinked at him, her instincts flaring. "Wait... is this the way to the parking lot?" she asked, her voice uncertain as she felt something was off. She fumbled for her phone, intending to call Alexander.

But Jack, desperate to complete the task, leaned closer, pressing the bottle into her hand. "You should drink this first, Miss Blackwell. It’ll make you feel better."

Before she could protest, Jack tried to force the bottle to her lips, but before the water even touched her mouth, a hard kick landed square in his stomach, sending him crashing to the ground.

Alexander stood over him, his eyes blazing with fury. He swiftly caught Sophia as she stumbled forward, pulling her into his arms.

Jack groaned on the ground, clutching his stomach, still unaware of who had attacked him. "How dare you interfere with my business? You must have a death wish!" Jack spat, still winded. "Do you even know who I am? I’m from Allure Fashion, and—"

Before he could finish, Alexander delivered another brutal kick, silencing him instantly. Jack’s eyes widened in horror as he finally recognized the man standing above him.

"The chairman," Jack gasped. "I’m doomed."

Alexander’s cold voice cut through the night air. "Who sent you?" he demanded, his tone icy.

Jack stammered, fear gripping him. "Nina... Nina sent me. She wanted me to take Miss Blackwell to room 801."

"Room 801?" Alexander's voice was thick with restrained rage. "You’ll take that bottle of water to Nina. Make her drink it. Then you’ll lead her to that room. Maybe then, I’ll forget what you tried to do here. But if you fail, you’ll pay dearly."

Jack, trembling and terrified, nodded frantically. "Yes, sir. I’ll do it. I swear."

Without another word, Alexander lifted Sophia into his arms and carried her away, leaving Jack alone, shaken to his core.

Back inside, Jack composed himself, took a deep breath, and approached Nina, who was seated with a smug grin, believing her plan had succeeded.

"It’s done," Jack lied, trying to keep his voice steady. "She’s in room 801."

"Are you sure?" Nina asked, her eyes gleaming with triumph.

"Yes," Jack said, pulling out the bottle of water. "Here, drink this. I brought it back for you to celebrate your success."

Nina, too thrilled by the thought of Sophia’s downfall, didn’t notice Jack’s nervousness. She took the bottle from him and downed it in one long gulp, oblivious to the fact that she had just sealed her own fate.

Minutes later, Nina collapsed, her body going limp. Jack, his heart pounding, caught her before she hit the floor. He carried her to room 801, his mind racing with the weight of what he had done.

Inside the room, three men awaited their victim. Jack, unwilling to stick around and see what would happen next, left her there, backing away as quickly as he could.

That night, Nina experienced the worst night of her life, ravaged by the very plan she had set in motion. She had been outwitted by Alexander, and her lust for vengeance had led to her ultimate humiliation.

Nina woke up the next morning, her body aching in ways she had never experienced before. Her head pounded, her limbs felt heavy, and a dull pain throbbed in every inch of her body. The memories of the previous night flooded back with alarming clarity, though she had been drugged. She vividly recalled how the men had taken turns, their hands rough, their breath foul, and their faces twisted in ugly grins as they whispered disgusting things into her ears. “Come on, baby, we’ll make you enjoy the night,” one of them had said with a sickening grin.

Nina squeezed her eyes shut, trying to block out the images, but they wouldn’t go away. The realization hit her hard: she had ended up in the very trap she had set for Sophia. Panic surged through her as she glanced around the unfamiliar room. The walls were a dull gray, the curtains drawn shut, and the sheets crumpled around her. She looked at the door, confirming the number etched on it: 801. Her heart sank. This was the room she had arranged for Sophia.

With a rush of adrenaline, Nina scrambled to get out of bed. She grabbed her clothes, hastily threw them on, and bolted for the door. Outside, she moved swiftly through the hotel, keeping her head down, avoiding eye contact with anyone who might recognize her. Her mind raced as she made her way to her apartment. She couldn’t believe it—how had this gone so horribly wrong?
