Please, please, please pick up! Pick up and tell me- my thoughts were interrupted as I had hoped.

"Hello?" The unmistakeable voice of Ryan Seacrest exited the phone.

"Hello!! Did I win the tickets?!" My voice screeched with hope.

All my fingers and toes were crossed, and by the look on Paige's face, hers were too. Both of us had been waiting a year for our chance to go to a One Direction concert. Our parents repeatedly refused to spend even a penny on 'unnecessary items.' This is not unnecessary.

"What's your name?" Ryan replied with a question.

"My name is Rose, and-" I had begun saying filled solely with excitement.

"And I'm Paige!" Paige interrupted, I didn't mind the slightest bit, this could be what we've been waiting for.

"Congratulations Rose and Paige, you have just won two tickets to-"

"WE KNOW WE KNOW!! TWO TICKETS TO ONE DIRECTION, TWO BACKSTAGE PASSES, AND YOU PAY FOR ALL EXPENSES!!! AHHHH OMG WE WON! WE ACTUALLY WON!! WE WON!!" Paige and I screamed overwhelmed by the news of the century we had just received and jumped up and down like in movies.

"That's right, but not everything you have won," Ryan spoke slower than usual, closer to the voice he uses on American Idol.

My eyes met Paige and our mouths simultaneously dropped. What else could we have won? I asked myself.

"You two have also won a dinner at Nandos with the members of One Direction following the concert," Ryan spoke into the phone, "oh. And with Paul of course."

"Are you serious?! This is AMAZAYN!" I yelled.

"A dream come true! Literally!" Paige added.

"We'll congratulations girls, come down to the studio to receive your tickets, backstage passes, and whatever else you two won. Also, to fill out paperwork," Ryan explained to us.

We wrote down the studio's address and hung up. I immediately ran out of my black, white, and purple room, jumped the stairs, and searched for my mum. I circled all of the rooms, knocked on the bathroom doors, and yet, couldn't find her.

"Paige! Get down here!" I yelled for Paige from the bottom of the stairs, "we have to tell our mums that we actually won the tickets. I can't find mine, so do you want to walk over to your place?"

As always, Paige slowly walked down the stairs. Her hair had beautiful waves cascading down her blonde hair with natural highlights I would kill to have. Paige is perfect, the best friend a girl could ask for.

"Yeah sure, then we could watch a movie or something," Paige said with her huge white-teeth smile.

"Haha okay, we just won One Direction tickets and all you can think of is watching a movie?" I laughed at Paige.

"Well I'm sooo sorry, I thought we could celebrate with a One Direction live concert recording with buttery popcorn and Doritos."

"This is why I love you," I gleefully said as I slid my Tom's on.

"Besties to the grave!" Paige and I both laughed after Paige did a deep, manlike grunt.

We headed out the door, to a house one block away to celebrate the grand future.

One more night until I finally get to fly to Birmingham from little Louth, Lincolnshire to meet Niall, Harry, Liam, Louis, and Zayn in person! I wonder if they're as sweet and funny as they seem. okay Rose, you need to get some sleep. Big day means big sleep. I told myself, but my eyes remained open.

I began to drift off with a smile paralyzed on my face. Envisioning all the boys greeting me with their perfect faces and smiles.
