the diner - billie Eilish

lily is sitting alone at home putting on the Beatles and relaxing until she heard her stomach start rumbling, as she walked to her fridge and opened it she realized she cant cook so why bother,

"I should just order food" she said while opening her phone,

she opens her phone and sees that nothing is open I mean it is 2AM in the morning what could be open.

she walks to her coat hanger and grabs a coat and heads to the front door, as she is sitting in her car she presses start and the music goes 100 max of the song (Here comes The Sun) , she turns it off and starts hearing someone yelling,

"YOU WOKE ME UP LILY WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?" a women yells from the 3ed floor of her apartment complex, "sorry marg I didn't mean for it to happen" Lily yells back.

as she was driving she saw the diner she always goes to and started craving their fries so she decided that's what she will get, I mean lucky for her they are open 24-7.

she heads in and sees no one in there except a group of people just sitting and she saw a familiar face, Claudia, her and Claudia used to be close friends but stopped being friends due to lack of communication, and she was lily's only friend so yeah lily is pretty lonely, she wanted to walk up to her but she seemed busy because she was with  2 other people who seemed to be a bit drunk so she didn't want to interrupt.

she goes to sit down on the table across from them, and she opens the menu to look at what she is gonna get, when she felt someone watching her, she looks up and sees the gorgeous brunette looking at her, but the second lily looked at her she looked away, she didn't really think about it and ordered the vegan burger.

as she was sitting starring at the window outside waiting for her food, someone started talking,

"lily is that you?" a women said, the voice wasn't strange so she turned around and saw Claudia,

"oh my god Claudia I didn't recognize you sitting" Lily said, and obvious lie, "what are you doing here come sit with us" Claudia said grabbing lily's hand, "sure" lily said as she got up to sit with them.

the second she sat down all eyes were on her, "Claudia who is this?" billie asked, "a friend from high school we stopped talking 2 years ago I think?" Claudia replied, "yeah we kind of just drifted apart which sucked for me because she was my only friend" lily said laughing, which made billie laugh, and everyone started laughing. "weren't you just sitting there?" the waiter said as he put her food on the table,  "oh yeah I just changed my seat" lily said as she grabbed a fry, the waiter shrugged his shoulder and walked away.

"so what's your name" billie asked, "lily" she said, "cool name" billie said, "not really its basic"

she said as she grabbed a fry, "true but that does not make it uncool" billie said, "thanks" she felt her cheeks turn red I mean who does not get shy from compliments, as she was eating her food she couldn't help but notice billie looking at her a couple of times, "you know I changed my number here is my new number we can hangout more" Claudia said as she slipped a piece of tissue with her number on it, "thanks I will be sure not to forget" lily said as she put the number in her bag so she does not lose it, I mean she does want friends.

lily fished eating and the others were just talking and chatting when they said they had to go, as they all left lily just sat there and drank her cola.
