Cayden gave Angelina a confused look. "How do you know that Equin is angry?"

"Because that is the same murderous look she had in her eye, when she found out about me being offered to Connor as part of him signing the peace treaty in return for him leaving the town wolves and their mates alone," Angelina explained. "That and I know my sister well enough to know what look she gets on her face when she's plotting murder."

Connor stood there smirking, thinking back on that very day that he laid eyes on Equin for the very first time. The very moment he saw her, he fell for her instantly. It was that moment that Connor knew he wanted Equin by his side instead of Angelina. "Oh, how I fell hard for Equin and knew that she was the one I wanted by my side."

"Crazy Joe, I'm going to give you a chance to take back what you said about Angelina. If you don't, then I will tear your sorry ass apart. Limb from limb," Equin growled.

"Oh, baby if you keep talking like that, I'm gonna have to rush you back up to the mountain, just to have my way with you until you're too tired to remain angry," Connor said while earning a look of discomfort from both Angelina and Cayden. "What? She's hot when she's all pissed off, threatening somebody who isn't me. Actually, now that I think about it, it's a huge turn on for me."

"Now is not the time to be sharing your sexual fantasies Connor," Angelina snapped at Connor.

"How about both of you shut the hell up before I beat the hell out of both of you. Don't think you're off the hook either, because you're not. Once I'm done dealing with Crazy Joe, I will deal with you two...separately. And no Connor, that doesn't mean that I will fuck you as your punishment. So, if you so much as make a dirty comment about it, I will rip your damn dick off and force feed it to you, that way you can't get it reattached to go screwing around to have more pups behind my back," Equin growled at Connor, not daring to take her eyes off of Crazy Joe. Equin carefully watched Crazy Joe's moves, trying to figure out if he's going to make the first attempt at an attack.

Connor growled at Equin not liking the threat one bit, but held back from teaching her who the alpha is, knowing that Crazy Joe would attack her the very moment that she had her back to him. And Connor was not going to risk anything happened to his mate and child. If Joe hurts either of them, he would gladly kill Crazy Joe himself.

"What's the matter with you Equin? I thought you had it in you to kill your whore of a sister, and the very man who practically forced you to become his, the very moment he took advantage of you, while you were in heat. Do you honestly believe that Connor had forced himself on you as a spur of the moment kind of thing? Of course he didn't. And if you believe he did, then you are a damn fool. He planned this. He kept following you, sniffing out your scent. He knew that you would be going into heat. That's why he kept following you around without you knowing. Connor was determined to make you his mate one way or another. And he was willing to kill anyone who got in his way," Crazy Joe said before turning his attention to Connor. "Isn't that right Connor?"

"Stop lying to my woman. You would tell her anything to get her to run away with my unborn child, that way I wouldn't get to experience anything with it," Connor growled at Crazy Joe.

"Oh don't look so glum. It would be like the first time around when you became a father. You were never there for your son, Cayden. And look at how he turned out to be. He turned out to be absolutely fine. Hell, it was a blessing in disguise for Cayden. Had you raised Cayden, would be just like you. I'm doing Equin and the baby a favor by offering them a way out of a torturous life where they will have you breathing down their neck, every minute of every day, keeping a close on their every move. Hell son, you plan on turning Equin into a breeding wolf. Because we both know the moment, she gives birth to that baby and she goes into heat again, you will force yourself on her until she's pregnant with your pup again. You might even kill Equin with the number of times that you mount her and get her pregnant with your pups. But I can save her from all of that. I can help her find a way out of Lupine Ridge; and away from you," Crazy Joe said before turning his gaze to Equin. "What do you say Equin? Do you want a fresh start for you and your baby?"
