The desire and restraint filled Lorenz's sharp eyes as he continued to hold me firmly around my waist. His hands slowly caressed under my shirt, sending shivers down my spine.

"Do you really think we can make it to the bedroom?" he murmured, his voice growing lower and huskier.

I laughed softly, trying to keep my composure as I reminded him, "Aba, mas mabuti na lang kumain tayo, 6:05 AM na, sigurado na gising na sila, tsaka si Manang na siguro ang nag-aalaga sa mga bata.”

The sound of Lurches' voice calling us interrupted our intimate moment. "Mommy, Daddy, let's eat!!"

I quickly turned away from Lorenz and hurried towards the kids.

"Coming," I replied, trying to control my racing heartbeat.

As we reached the dining area, Lurches and our other children were already seated at the table, their excited chatter filling the room. I took my seat next to them, trying to maintain a composed exterior despite the turmoil of emotions inside me.

Lorenz sat down opposite me, the intensity in his eyes still evident. His gaze never left me as he watched me interact with our children, his fingers drumming quietly on the table.

We started eating in a mixture of silence and cheerful conversation from the kids. Every so often, my eyes darted to Lorenz, catching his intense gaze still fixed on me. The electricity between us couldn't be denied, but I had to stay focused on our children.

As we continued our meal, I tried to keep the conversation light and engaging, asking our kids about their day and listening intently to their stories. But I could feel Lorenz's eyes on me, silently communicating a different kind of hunger.

The breakfast seemed to drag on, each minute feeling like an hour. I was hyper-aware of every movement Lorenz made, the way he ate, the way he smiled at the kids, and the way he watched me. The tension in the room was palpable, and it was getting harder to keep up the facade of normalcy.

I tried my best to divert the conversation, asking the kids about their plans for the day and hoping it would take the focus off Lorenz and me. But even the kids couldn't seem to ignore the unusual atmosphere.

After what felt like an eternity, the breakfast came to an end. The kids quickly finished and ran off to their rooms to prepare for the day, leaving Lorenz and me alone together in the dining area.

The silence hung heavily in the air, the tension between us palpable. I looked up, meeting Lorenz's gaze, and saw the hunger in his eyes that mirrored my own.

As the kids scattered to their rooms to start the day, Lorenz and I stayed behind in the dining area, the charged silence hanging between us. It was in this moment that Milany, our youngest daughter, bounded back into the room, her eyes wide with excitement.

"Mom, Dad!" she called out, her voice filled with urgency. "Guess what I saw in the garden?"

Milany's interruption broke the tension between Lorenz and me. We both turned to her, grateful for the distraction.

"What is it, sweetie?" I asked, hoping to sound normal and composed.

Milany's eyes sparkled with excitement as she continued, "I was playing outside and I saw these flowers that I've never seen before! They're so pretty and colorful!"

I smiled at her enthusiasm. "That's amazing, sweetie. I'm sure they're beautiful. Can you show me where they are?"

' bleeeee ka sakin Lorenz ang landi mo na sa akin ngayun '

"Sure, Mom! I'll take you to see them!" Milany replied, grabbing my hand and leading me out of the dining room.

I looked back at Lorenz, giving him a reassuring smile before following our daughter.
