New Beginnings

" Axile....Axile.... " a girl with a smile swiped up the alarm. Went to get refreshed herself and went down "Good morning, Aimee , what do you prefer for breakfast". " I think maybe a healthy cereal bowl with some fruits will be easier and tasty too". "Yes of course, ". They made it together and had a yummy breakfast. "Hey how is my OOTD ", "Good...".
A heavy breath out and went into the class took a seat beside a girl. Right then the professor gets into the class ," Good Morning my dear , myself Mrs. Ariana your English professor. So, today's class is about the basic grammar that we all have come across, but before that can each you guys give us a small introduction of yourself. "Sure mam" agreed to everyone. One by one everyone came up and introduced themselves. The girl stood up and went forward with trembling voice and hands and she said "Hello guys Myself Helena, I completed my schooling form Role International school , Nice to meet you all. Thank You". One by one the others also completed their introduction. It was the break time, Helena went to the canteen to meet Aimee .She was also studying in the same University , but in different fields. "Hi girl, how was your day?", "No words! I mean all my hard work was completely drenched". "Haaa....haa.... What do you mean like that, hard work??" ."Excuse me ,who are you?", "Myself Dax". "So what? ", Aimee raised her eyebrows .But before Helena said" He is one of my classmates", "Sounds good you noticed me, of course people will notice me as I am the coolest guy in our class". "VERY ! VERY FUNNY ! ". As it was time, Helena and Dax were moving to their class, "Hey I am seriously asking you ?", "
Oh Nothing , I just prepared myself not to tremble before everyone but nothing could help me. I am pretty sure that I am not going to spare her ".
Helena and Aimee went back home, "Welcome back my dear chicks , here are your pastries ." "Aimee dear why do you look so furious " , "that guy he thinks himself as the most good looking fellow but honestly, he looks like a .... Cow, dog, pig, hippopotamus , and so on ". "Oh dear, who is it? " ,"It's the guy who we meet in the canteen, I mean your classmate " ." Ooh him ,He is kind of sweet " ,"seriously !!". "Alsa why are you guys quarrelling tell him that I know that the most handsome guy is me ".Everyone giggled seeing him.
The next day at university, everything went as usual, Helena got used to the environment in the university. Not even a week has passed, but some Professors informed me that the university will conduct your Exams before this month's end so they requested to prepare for it. Everyone had a long face. At break time ,Diana shouted "OH! What the hell does this guy think ?". "By the way don't we have freshers' celebration " ,"Dax you are still expecting it", with a giggle. "Helena, where are you going?", "of course going to meet Aimee" went on saying it. "Aimee ", "Hey... Let's go to the library". "Seriously!!!", they both went to the library.
The library was massive, Aimee went to the biological section and Helena went to the computer section. Each of them was placed in different areas. Helena went on the other side, she got a book and was excited to read it but in her mind a voice came out "Will you be able to read this book within this period, and Don't forget your upcoming exams" ,she agrees with her brain. There she goes to the librarian ,"Hello Mam, Myself Helena. I am new here. May I get a library card. ", "Sure, please fill this form", after filling the form she went back. Now, there is confusion going on in her head "what book should I pick, should I go with maths as it's my favourite or physics but I don't like physics why the hell should I study physics. Or should I pick Python as I have never seen it. What should I pick ! Oh then let's just pick a book with my eyes closed touches physics. Oh no no, it's just a trial that the real one again goes with physics. Ok this is the last chance and it's physics. Fine, I accept my defeat, you win" at last she agrees with it. Suddenly she receives a call from Dax ''Hello, what's the matter " in a husky tone "Padon wherever you may be, just hurry up to the class it's urgent" he cuts the call. She got tensed and just rushed back to the class, she got in first then Maths sir came in. "Thank you for calling me " in a soft voice. Then she texted Aimee that she had come back to the class. Meanwhile, the librarian called out Helena ,Helena, right then Aimee came out and went to the librarian. A guy from behind was watching this, "Hello, mam she is my good friend", "Ok please give this card to her '', "Thank you mam". Then she went to the computer department but could not find Helena. Right then she received a message from Helena, she sent that I have received your library card.
Dax screamed out "OHH this is my first weekend here ". Diana asked "So what's your plan". Dax said, "Maybe I would like to go out and have a good French meal" , "ohh sounds good" . On the other hand, Helena and Aimee went to get the required things for this week. At the front of the door, A girl was standing, "Hello, myself Caira. I am their granddaughter. Nice to meet you all, I will be staying with my grandparents all weekend." They greeted her and went back to their house. "Thank god, this weekend I can get to sleep peacefully", laid in her bed. " Come on, it has just been a week".
The next day, they had a tasty Italian Pasta for breakfast. They set to go shopping to get the needed groceries and bought them all, had lunch in the nearby restaurant and came back home. "Hello, grandma, here are the blueberries you asked for", "Thank You, Helena". "Why did you tell me, do you think I would not get it for you" shouted. "NO, my dear, Caira .Since they went to the shop, I told them", "Oh really then where do I come from". "You went to get dressed not groceries, if you had so much concern then why the hell didn't you ask her what she wants". And went upstairs, "You can't show this much attitude to me, do you know who I am?".
Angrily she went out, the grandma was a bit upset. "Aimee, you should not have been so rude to her, that doesn't mean that you are wrong. That stupid girl does not have a heart, but grandma feels a lot, she looks upset. We need to cheer her up . So, shall we bake a cake for her '', she nodded. "Commander Helena in charge ! Is commander Aimee on line ". '' Old commander grandpa is also here", with a smile they started it, "commander Aimee mixed the cake batter, commander Helena whisk the frosting, I will do the decoration ." Aimee set the batter in the oven for 30 minutes, Helena prepared the vanilla cream, and a fruit mix to spread in between layers. After half an hour, Grandpa baked the cake, sliced it into 3 layers, placed the bottom layer, added sugar syrup, vanilla cream and the fruit mix at last with one piece of chopped strawberry. One by one he added it in layers and placed the final cake piece. Then made decorations on top of the cake and placed it inside the frigid.
They called grandma, closed her eyes, and brought them to the garden on the terrace. She saw the cake, and out of words she cut the cake, fed it to each other. Right then, Caira came back and saw this. "Oh! You guys are enjoying it without me", with watery eyes. Grandma felt a little sad, she went behind her to calm her down, and grandpa followed them with a piece of cake. Caira was not in the mood to talk to them as she was jealous of Aimee and Helena, but she could not accept the truth. Helena could understand her feelings, but a little late "Oh my god, this girl has inferiority complexity ", "What do you mean? Helena ", "Oh come on she thinks that her grandparents love , cares for us more than her". "Are you serious, but how can you understand all this", "Quite simply, I am the first daughter". "Oh, come what do you mean by that" ,"You won't understand all this stuff as your single child. I mean, since a younger child is born, we are left alone. All the care and affection which they showed us, were suddenly vanished and the most hurtful thing is that they show it to your younger siblings at that time whatever we do will only irritate them. Once my little brother was born with all their love ,care and affection towards him , today whatever I did used to irritate them but now the same things my brother does they enjoy it". "Helena, what happened?", "I mean when I was at grade 4, I had participated in a dance program in our school, because my brother was not doing well, she had not come, but today he had participated in a fancy dress competition, in spite of her illness she went and encouraged him but now he is in grade 6. But at the end she says she loves both of us." ,with a smile. Caira who overhears understands her mistake, or the feeling between Helena and Aimee and her grandparents. "Quite surprising, may be true, Helena. But just that I don't have siblings doesn't mean that I will blindly believe", with a wicked smile went Aimee to her room, Helena's mind "silly girl, I hope everything ends well. Both of them are sensitive. I hope they do not trouble our grandparents."
"Good morning, Aimee . What's there for breakfast ", "Morning, It's time for brunch". "Knock! Knock! " ,someone hits the door. Aimee opens the door ,"It's you. What do you want?", "I am sorry about yesterday I was a bit rude; the reason was I had gone for an interview but they selected their own daughter", " Are they idiots to conduct an interview if they are going to hire their daughter ". "Maybe , I am not sure about Aimee. I had wasted my whole day there and also skipped my lunch. Oh no worries, come to Caira".
Evening Aimee and Helena went out, they entered a store and got the cart. Aimee will get the items from last and Helena will get the items from the beginning of the list. After getting all the things, I went out and walked in the streets. It was cold and about a half a mile away. "Helena, how is your class? Do you have interesting stuff to share?", "Nope ", "Then shall I proceed " ,""Sure". "I mean what do you think of Dax, I mean do you feel for him, or do you like him " , "What the hell are you talking, what do you want, a minute do you like him", "NO are you mad, a girl from my class said that she likes such guys and would like to be in relationship, so I thought of you, that's it". "Stupid, are you out of your senses" "Never mind, remind me that I have to give you your library card". "Hey, I would like to have French toast."They went and had dessert together.
Again, back to routine I need to go class, "Who the hell said that higher education is easy, I dare to kill him". Went to class, "Good morning, Dax, how was your weekends?" ,"Mine was good, what about yours. I am sure it would be horrible listening to your friend". Class commences madam gave them assignments to be completed by next week, Helena went to Aimee and informed that she is going home. At lunch, Aimee went to the canteen to get water bottle, by mistake she slips and pour the water on a guy and she also feel down. All of them laughed at her, he leaned his hand with a grumpy face. She stood up slowly asked sorry and thanked him went back to her class. "Who the hell was she"," Cathal, her name is Helena ". "Oh, really Jago, how do you know her?" , "I think so she is always clumsy, I mean one day the librarian shouted her name, but she was searching for someone." Cathal got a smile, Jago "Wow, are you smiling" , "By the way what's her name?", "Helena". "Hi, Aimee your back home", "Yes", "Why are you so messy". " The water spilled off, I slipped on it ". "Are you ok now, walk forward and backward, sit down, turn around". "hello.. , I am good. The guy who helped me did not react I don't understand what he thought of me. Never mind, you look good ,today". Helena looked confused," I had off today, as we just need to complete our assignment next week no other work for today. So , it's a day off. And I watched a lovely movie". They had dinner together Heleana narrated the whole movie she saw to Aimee as a bed time story. "You act like an old grandmother, goon night".
All went as usual, they were arranging a cultural event on the upcoming weekend. All the department had to gather for work. Dax, Helena, and others from their class will organise technical events, some of them are participating in other competitions. They started their work. Aimee was in charge of the decoration set. There Aimee noticed him, but did not react, as she was embarrassed. Their seniors came, they all gathered there "Look guys, we are responsible for the decoration of our classes, and the entrance. So, guys, split up and start doing your work." , "Juniors just follow your seniors." "Hello, please hold your enthusiasm till tomorrow, as we will plan and then let you guys know about it". There Diana and Dax were working together, removing the wire connection and cleaning the room completely. All done cleaning, Diana said "Dax, could you please complete the connection , please I need to go home, it's already late. I hope you understand ''.The night before the cultural event, all the members stayed the night to do the decorations. Helena does not have any work to do late at night , so she went to help Aimee. Aimee was climbing a ladder to hand the decorative designs Cathy was holding the other needed things. By mistake, the ladder slipped, Aimee almost fell down she screamed in fear closing her eyes tightly by then Cathal held her like a princess, "Excuse me open your eyes" ,Aimee came into sense, she could feel like floating and slowly opened her eyes, she saw that guy and said "Please drop me down" in soft tone, "As you say, clumsy girl ". Off the floor a bang Aimee fell onto the ground, everyone laughed at them, her back hurt "Ouch who the hell are you man?" shouts in anger, he moved on. Cathy gave her hand and Helena gave her some water. All continued to do their work.
All set for the big day, morning Aimee and Cathy were standing in the entrance. Cathal saw Aimee ,could not look away from her. The program began, "Helena, I am going to participate in weight lifting." Aimee went there. She took the weight lift and held it. Cathal was looking at her from a far distance . "Three Two One Done , you did it ". Cathal had a big smile seeing Aimee winning. By then it was lunch time, we had lunch together. A voice "Hello Guys, Myself Marko I am here to sing a song " these words echoed into Helena's ears multiple times, she made an excuse and ran to the stage. "Thank you for giving me such an opportunity", before Helena could reach there, he left. Helena's eyes were disturbed, then she went back to her friends. At last, the day was over, they went home. "Helena, are you okay you look as if you have not eaten for several days", "seriously maybe I am exhausted today, will look better tomorrow".
Next day was Sunday, they both woke up very late. Both of them came to the sofa with a glass of chocolate drink. "Aimee, who was the guy who dropped you down that day?", "Dax is even a good guy compared to him, he is so rude. I swear he will go to hell"." Clam down". "I met the guy long back, that day I went to get water from the canteen ...", "Yes I do remember, is he that guy you wanted to see his reaction, and also wanted to know how to look through his eyes ". "Oh, come on, nothing like that it was just he helped me but I could not thank him that day, but yesterday he showed me his true colour". "Okay fine but let me tell you something, we just need 40 seconds to fall in love with someone, so remember it my dear" ,"really you making fun of me, so your punishment is to cook lunch by yourself for both of us, my back is hurting".
Days passed as usually, Aimee could notice Cathal everywhere she goes for few days, but took it casually. Suddenly one day, "Hey excuse me clumsy girl, can you do me a favour, its not to hard". "What?", "just need a good drawing in my assignment, saw your drawing, so would you". "okay", "Come, with me I will help you". "Hello Aimee, why do you look so clumsy", "why the hell me ", "What do you mean ?", "Nothing". "Let's go for lunch, at the nearby restaurant as Caira called ", walked all the way there. "Thanks for coming", "why have you called us? ". "Nothing serious, I have received my offer letter", "Congragulation , I'm very happy for you", "Fantastic ". She had a smile, "What's bothering you". "Nothing ,I need to go to France for my new job"." That's great why not ", "Need to leave every one, make new friends don't know whether they would be good or snake", "Never mind you're not a kindergarten child, it's a new opening in your life". "Maybe you are going to meet your soulmate" , She was blushing, went home. "Grandma , where are you?", "here my dear", "Hope you don't feel bad ". "Dear do you love somebody, I swear we will not separate your love, my love.", "Come on tell me who the hell disappointed you I will kill him or will turn into a gangster". " Grandpa I got my new job but..", "but what ?". "I need to go to France". "Good, well done my best wishes", he shouted in excitement, grandma eyes were filled with tears.
At the kitchen, "what happened to you, Aimee you were frustrated in the morning, I hope everything went well". "No worries, it's that guy who just asked me for help in an unpleasant way, as if I asked for it". "You mean that ' clumsy girl ' guy. "Have your meal". "Morning, Helena", her phone vibrates , "Hello, Cathal. Can we meet today? ". Her smiley face turned furious, started to blabber " how did he get my number" and started wondering," now what should I do" , "sure". Immediately "where shall we meet?". "Maybe at our cafeteria", " done sharply at 2 o'clock"."Helena, I am going out today so have lunch by yourself", went to dress herself." Oh god only knows what you are upto".

Aimee was there on time, her eyes were searching for him but couldn't find, with unfulfilled wish she went in. "Hey Aimee, you are on time", the loud voice from behind made her trumble and turned around furious and clashed with the waiter passing by. Once again, she messed up. " Clumsy girl, hold my hands'' saying so he leaned his hand. With an awkward situation she gave her hand. He took her to the washroom, as the ice cream was spilled all over her face. After a moment she came out, "Are you okay now, clumsy girl". "Yes, by the way, stop calling me a clumsy girl, I am not clumsy. I hope you understand" whispering in his ears, he gave a gentle smile gazing at her. They both went to the table and ordered themselves ice cream and coffee. "Now tell me how can I help you","well it's simple, can you draw for my assignment work as I am medical student and I am not good at drawing, would you please", as he pleased Aimee couldn't refuse." Thank you so much, this means alot to me",.he handed over his incomplete assignment to her.

Aimee was back home, "welcome my dear, let's have dinner together". They all gathered at the dining hall, "Cathy please pass me the soya sauce", " I am sure that you can roam around , omg! You have a chance to visit Eiffel Tower ", "Aimee, I am still not aware about it", " France is not only about Eiffel tower, there are many other thing like French bread with garlic dip one of my favourite, macrons, the classical picture of monalisa, the triangular museum and many more", "got it got it", screams in excitement. "This is my address, I hope I will be able to start a new beginning with less difficulties. Helena peeped into the address, "Hey this is your office address, what about your residencial address". "Helena, you are right. Realy idk what to do now", "No worries, that place is really awesome, I have been there in my childhood","not bad, so people may know you","may be not for sure".

"You never told me that you have been to France '',"I was there till my primary schooling, later moved here. So, now there was no need to speak about''. "Really ,have you ever seen the Eiffel tower", "of course, the most memorable one is always during the Christmas Eve or new year eve" ,"I hope you're not Kidding me ". "Not at all, why would I ". Buddle drop sound, Aimee looked into her phone," Hey, have you completed my work ?I need to submit it tomorrow" , "OMG, I completely forgot about this guy, he is definitely going to chop me into pieces , crush me like trash, shit . How an idiot I have been" ," what happened to you , are you fine". With a pity face "Helena, could you please help me finish my assignment . I will surely get you an ice-cream tomorrow". "Fine, how can I help you ?","Sweet of you, can you write all this for me , I will do the drawing part". Meanwhile, Cathal was gumpy and roaming around like a kitten, thinking whether she would do it or betray me. Helena could only write a few pages, and soon she fell asleep. Aimee couldn't ask for more, sat the whole night and wrote the assignment.

The morning alarm rang, Helena slowly opened her eyes and saw Aimee still writing . "Oh I am so sorry, I don't remember when I fell asleep", "never mind it done". Aimee's phone rang, quickly she attended it "Hope you have completed it", "yes", "Thank you so much, can you come and give it to me in our university , Please", "Sure". Helena could find some strange behaviours in Aimee, before she could ask, "Helena , I am going out to university, to get some books, meet you at lunch", "come on at least have something before you go". Without hearing it she went out. "What's wrong with this girl? , she doesn't have classes today but she sat the whole night to complete an assignment and now she has gone out. Strange of her, Hope she is fine". Grandma and grandpa could understand it and smiled at each other. "Honey, I think a flower has started to blossom", nodded grandpa hearing grandma.

Happily , Aimee went to the university. "Hey" waved Cathel at Aimee, with excitement back when she waved. Aimee returned the assignment to him, "Thank you so much for your help", "No mention" . A voice shouted "Cathel", they both turned around. "Hey here you go, this is your assignment", hands over the assignment. "Thank you, have you completed it all, you are great". Aimee left the place as soon as she heard this, and couldn't accept the betrayal, felt sad and returned home, and went to her room.
