So what do 8 teenagers do when they're stranded in South America with a sack of gold and no ride home?

What any normal and dysfunctional group of friends would do... bribe a sailor for a ride home and sleep for three weeks straight. Like three whole weeks of sleep.

Then when arriving back in the OBX, they make peace with their family... or try in Kiara' case.

"Do I bother calling Rafe?" Jade asks, looking at Sarah who had been trying to talk Rose and Wheezie.

"Honestly, he might just kill you." She says, the pair still wearing their dirty and sweaty clothes.

"Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised by that." Jade nods her head, pushing her hair from her forehead. "So don't bother?"

"I mean... we probably should talk to him at some point, right?" Sarah says, furrowing her eyebrows in thought.

"Don't bother." JJ adds his two cents from the floor next to them, "he'll just accuse you of killing Ward."

Jade looks from JJ to Sarah with a slight grimace and nod of her head, "he's not wrong." She states, making Sarah nod her head as well.

"Yeah, maybe leave him." The blonde says, letting out a deep breath.

The more exciting part of being back home was the gold.

They were all stood/sat in a gold dealer's office, waiting to find out if the gold was real and how much they would buy it from the teens for. It was tense and they could literally hear a pin drop from how quiet it was.

Honestly the first time JJ wasn't talking.

"20 pounds." The man says, taking the clump of gold off of the scale as Jade and Kie make eye contact. "98.5%... gold." He says, almost confused as to how they found this.

The teens all smile at each other, the weight of not knowing now off their shoulders. "And that translates too..." John B smirks, looking towards the man again.

"This is money... a whole lot of money." He says, the teens now going wild with squeals and laughter.

"Yes!" John B chuckles.

"Full kook!" JJ shouts, wrapping his arms around Jade's neck from behind as the couple laugh.

"We did it!"

"Whoo!"

"Oh yeah!"

"Moment of truth." John B says, inserting the cheque into the ATM machine as everyone crowds around, growing super impatient. "Pin is 0-0-0-0. Enter."

They all pause pretty quickly, Jade chuckling loudly as she watches her sister's face grow shocked at her partner's stupidity.

"You're kidding." Sarah asks her boyfriend.

"What?" John B asks, looking to Sarah in confusion.

"Tell me that's a temporary pin." Kie says.

"At least he won't forget it." Jade shrugs.
