“Guys look at the camera”
It was my parents wedding anniversary and they were horrible when it came to clicking pictures. “Okay, enough of clicking pictures Maya” my dad said with a sigh.
I was locking the door of our apartment while my mother went down where my dad was waiting inside the car and as always yelling at me for being late. We were deciding where to go for dinner and my dad came with his suggestion to the restaurant where we usually go.
I agreed with my dad but my mom wanted go somewhere else,
"Oh come on, it is our anniversary, should'nt we both decide?" She exclaimed.
At the end she agreed with us. We reached the destination and walked our way through the restaurant door, we went to our table which has been booked by me as a surprise for my parents, as we reached the table we sat on our respected seats.
“Here is the menu card.” said the waiter, handing us that.
We gave our order while I had a good conversation with my parents, after a while my eyes went on a handsome guy standing near the counter and watching if everyone there was having there dinner peacefully.
I assumed he must be the manager or the owner of the restaurant. He was so handsome that I couldn’t take my eyes off him
He had curly hair, a black shirt sculpting his muscles and blue jeans.
oh, my....he was so hot.
Our food arrived so, I set my eyes off him and concentrated on my food while talking with my parents. After a while I made eye contact with him
Yes! Eye contact!
I grabbed my phone immediately and messaged Phoebe and Rachal, my best friends. Phoebe was available that time alas Rachal wasn’t.
Phoebe replied to my text and as I told her I had spotted a handsome guy. She asked for a picture. I replied saying I couldn’t click a picture because I was with my parents and of course I can’t take a stranger's picture without asking them.
Here I was making eye contact with him again, he was fucking good at maintaining eye contact, until we were leaving we didn’t break it. I could have directly gone to him and asked for his instagram ID but unfortunately I was with my parents.
I was slightly disappointed I was with them when I saw this handsome guy.
As phoebe asked for picture, I tried clicking a picture keeping my rules aside for not clicking a stranger’s picture, anyway I tried and I could only capture his back
Phoebe's sarcasm was apparent through her text
“Oh my look at his back, Maya”. We went to our car which was in the parking lot. It was raining that night.
I stared out the window while rain fell against it thinking about the night.
After reaching home I couldn’t stop thinking about those eyes. I layed there not knowing if I would see him again.
