Life as a streamer and YouTuber was chaotic and didn't allow Mr Beast to get attached to anyone but the people he recorded with in the Mr Beast crew. That was until he went to TwitchCon and was able to interact with fans. As he felt a tap on his shoulder, he turned to face whoever had surprised him. "Yo?"
In his usual laid-back way, MrBeast casually leaned against the convention table. Looking around, he could see several people waiting in line to get pictures, autographs—the usual. He'd never really gotten used to it all.
"I'm not really after a photo or an autograph."
That was fairly new to MrBeast, which made him curious. He tilted his head a bit. "Well, then what do you want?"
"Just to talk to you."
"Well, you're doing it right now, aren't you?" He smiled, crossing his arms over his chest, waiting to hear what the person had to say.
"Oh. I'm not a fan or anything. I'm more the person who's worried about your safety."
"Eh? Worried about my safety? You're kidding, right?" He raised an eyebrow, surprised. The last person that ever worried about him was probably Chandler during one of his wild challenges or worse, his mother.
"Yeah, recently I've heard something... there are people after you, and I took it upon myself to keep you safe."
"After me? That’s some tiktok conspiracy type stuff, you don’t gotta worry about that." He scoffed, crossing his arms again as he leaned further back, "Besides, I got people who are probably better than you at keeping me safe. It’s called twitter stan accounts."
She rolled her eyes.
"What an attitude. You sure you're not a fan? You're just like some people I know." Mr Beast chuckled, amused by the person in front of him who was supposedly worried about his safety.
"Listen, I can pretty much take care of myself, okay? I don't need saving, especially by some random person at TwitchCon."
"You don't know what you're talking about. If I were you, I'd leave now. You're in deep danger. And I don't want that to happen to you."
"And what makes you so sure of that?" He narrowed his eyes. This conversation was definitely starting to get on his nerves.
"They're not normal people. They're... after other people like you. You need to leave."
"Other people like me? So, other content creators? What do they wanna do, hack my account?" He rolled his eyes, clearly feeling a bit annoyed.
"Kill you... and I don't want to see the day that happens."
Now he was really confused and no longer trying to brush this off. "What the hell is it? Some stupid cult or an assassination group?"
"Just look over there, they've got guns. People are already starting to leave."
As much as he didn't want to admit it, this person was right. Reluctantly, Mr Beast looked over to where she was pointing, spotting a few armed men. He cursed under his breath, taking a step back.
"Okay, that’s not good timing. Got a plan?"
"I know a secret exit."
For the first time, he was willing to trust a complete stranger. He nodded, feeling an unfamiliar rush of adrenaline.
"Lead the way, I’ll follow you."
Y/N led MrBeast to a discreet door off to the side, and they slipped through. Outside, there was a van parked nearby.
"Can you drive?" she asked.
"You think a gamer can't drive? Hell, I can drive a tank if I wanted to." His demeanor shifted to something more serious as he got into the driver’s seat. Y/N hopped into the passenger seat beside him. "I'm scared," she admitted.
