#2: The Invitation {Part 2}

I'm changing up my upload schedule because It's only Tuesday and I already have Chapter 8 done!!! I honestly wasn't expecting how fun it would be to write these chapters so here this is!!

I made my decision...

I'm going...

It may sound crazy but I don't really care... No matter how suspicious this whole thing is, I can't keep hiding anymore... I want to fight again... I NEED to fight again...

It was now 11pm and I had just finished picking my duffel bag, I decided to respect the note and not pack any weapons. I want to make at least a decent good first impression, especially if there's gonna be a bunch of other elemental masters there, I guessed that there would be since it's literally call 'The Tournament Of Elements'.

I made sure that my gloves was on tightly so I knew that they wouldn't fall off, I put on my mask and hood and I made my way to the peer.

It took about 30 minutes to get there so still plenty of time to think, I sat on a near by bench.

'Wow... There are a lot more elemental masters than I thought... Maybe it'll be good if I try to make an alliance with someone...'

About 20 minutes later the ninja arrive.

'Wow... I didn't know the ninja would participate? I mean.. there all elemental masters also so of course they'd get invited but I didn't know that they'd actually show up... especially after Zane's death...'

I wasn't trying to eavesdrop but they were close enough to me for me to hear there conversation so I just ended up listening...

Jay: "Ugh... I told you we shouldn't have worn them!"

Kai: "The Tournament of Elements... You think all of them have powers like us?..."

Kai says as he looks around at all of the different elemental masters, his eyes eventually landing on me. A perk about wearing a mask, they can't see me staring back at them!

Lloyd: "When I asked my dad about it, he got really suspicious... Like there's something he's keeping from me..."

Cole: "The fortune cookie said 'tell no one or else there'd be consequences'"

Lloyd: "Relax, We're cool."

Then the ship arrived. Some thugs put a wood plank down for us to all walk across to get on the ship, A fancy looking man with a low ponytail walked across it to get onto the dock. Me, Along with all the other elemental masters walked toward the boat.

Lloyd: "We don't know yet if this is a trap. Wherever they take us, we have to stick together."

Most of the elemental masters got on the ship, including me, but then it was just the ninja left.

???: "Master Chen will be charmed to see you've accepted his offer. A Master of Spinjitzu shall fare favorably in his tournament."

Jay: "Hey, We're not here to fight, We're here to save a friend."

'I wonder who he's talking about... Maybe I could help them...'

???: "Don't be so petty, Master Jay-"
