CHAPTER 5

QUINNE'S POV

I was just minding my own business while laying down in my warm and fluffy blanket, wishing for nothing to disturb this peace.

But no, someone just have to interrupt my fucking beauty sleep.

I was dozing off in the middle of nowhere while hovering above the vast ocean. I have always loved the smell of the sea and the winds brushing off my skin since it always help me sleep.

It has been a few years since i was undisturbed by my so-called friends and if I have to say the truth, I love it so much.

No annoying pests, no bossy high ranking colleagues.

It was the best.

However.

It had to be interrupted by the childish  voices of the zephyrs that have been accompanying my journey to find peaceful lands.

-Quinne! Quinne! Someone sent a letter!

-Yeah! A letter!

-Must be from your friends!

-But how did they know where to send it?

-I mean, didn't Quinne tell the others to not let any of his friends intrude on his so-called life long vacation?

I was seriously getting angry at their chatters, so I yelled.

"Guys! for Pete's sake stop with chatter and just give me the letter. As much as I don't want anyone bothering me it might be urgent."

Hope not....

The zephyrs brought me the white envelope with a snake symbol on the front.

I knew who sent it just by seeing the symbol.

I was quite confused.

Why would this person disturb me when he was the one who clearly suggested I leave for a while to get out of my annoying and stressful friends.

"Haa~....if it was a different symbol I would not even try to read it for a few days, however seeing as Finne, himself wrote this to me something must have happened."

I took the letter hovering in the air in front of me and ripped it off and read the contents of the letter.

Dear quinne,

First of all, I sincerely apologize for interrupting your vacation that I, myself suggested.
Something happened at work and it has been bothering me, I sent a letter to another to ask him to check on this issue.
On the other hand, I wrote to you to check on this person, I feel something from him and I do not know what it is.
I want you to get to know him and tell me if you ever feel the same.
Don't worry, I will give you something as a reward for doing this.
