The moon looks pretty

My arms rested on the railings, as I looked up at the stars that were painted on the abyssal night sky. The stars were beautiful, it was, but the moon. It was the moon that caught my attention. Bathed in the light of the sun, the moon was more beautiful than even the stars around. The wind ruffled my hair as it went by, creating a whistling sound that harmonized with the muffled chatter of the banquet inside. Despite being in the ruined world, I feel secure and so damn happy for some reason. My heart was beating, it felt like it could jump out of my chest anytime soon. I don't really know why, I can't quite put my finger on it. If anything, it wasn't bad at all.

I wish I could just turn off the fourth wall, just for a minute. But I am in a good mood.

"The moon looks beautiful tonight."

Yoo Joonghyuk, who was right next to me, finally started to speak. His hair was flowing at the same pace as the zephyr wind. Oddly, he didn't look bad at all, in fact, it complimented his face a lot. Way too much for my liking. His eyes and eyebrows which were covered by his bangs, were shown clearly. It was like adding the finishing touches to the art piece. Damn, protagonist bastard. But I can't help but admit, the moon was really pretty.

"So is the sunset."

I didn't want to agree with that sunfish, but I couldn't help smiling. I looked at Joonghyuk, to see him furrowing his brows. No way this bastard is pouting, I have to admit, it was fun teasing him. I closed my eyes, enjoying this moment as I could not let this go. The party can wait.

"Kim Dokja"

"Hm?"

"...Nothing.."
