To the Weathervane

"I am not entering." Y/n said when they're close to the door, she looked at him. "Why not?"

"Because I am unnecessary there and because I want to talk with a certain someone." Y/n said, glancing at a blonde woman, Wednesday nodded her head and entered the Weathervane.

Y/n walked in direction of a certain blonde women across the street, he stood besides her being silent for a while. "...Shouldn't you be in another place? It's Outreach day." She said looking up at him.

"You know what I am doing." He said in response looking ahead with a blank expression on his face, she smiled at his face.

"...It's always a delight to see your true expression." She said, referring to his face that resembles that of a dead man.

"...Be careful Y/n, the monster is deadly." She said also looking a head with a serious expression.

"I will be fine, you more than any other know that."

She shakes her head. "...I'm not talking about you, the girl can't protect herself. If she encounters this monster without you."

Y/n sighed looking at the sun directly. "You want me to mark her with the protection curse." His voice is dull, so different from his usual self.

She smiled at this. "...I saw your kiss, and I know it's not love but if you want your curiosity to continue her protection is a must."

"She will ask questions, are you sure I can do this?" He looked directly at her eyes this time.

"...If it's only her, you can inform about your identity."

Y/n now looked at his nails, they stayed in silence for a while neither wanted to continue this conversation but Y/n is intrigued.

Never before has his master shown interest on his curiosity, maybe it was because for once he's curious about another person.

He saw Wednesday walking out of the Weathervane and decided he's finally free. "Goodbye Rebecca." Y/n said, walking in Wednesday's direction.

Rebecca merely watched Y/n returning to his usual self with a tiny smile on his face and the light happiness on his tone of voice.

"You have grown so much from the past." She muttered to herself viewing Y/n acting so happy, no it's not a act she can tell he's genuinely happy, but she wonders for how long Wednesday will be capable of making him happy, how long util he's no longer curious about Wednesday, she will know her answer soon.

To the Original Meeting House

The two walked in the forest that surround the meeting house, the house in their line of sight it seemed to have been burned or it was just old, Y/n doesn't know.

They entered the destroyed house with Wednesday letting her backpack on the ground with Thing walking out of it.

"Kinda lame." Y/n said and Thing did some gestures that Y/n couldn't understand. "I was expecting more too." Wednesday said, in response to the hand and the outcast.

With the two facing the door of the house they didn't see a old homeless man walking behind them. "Who you talking to, big boy?" The old man said to Y/n not seeing Wednesday as Y/n is behind her so the old man he can't see her.

Instincts took over Y/n's body and he immediately turned around giving the old man a kick on his face making him fall on the ground.

Wednesday saw Y/n's eyes turning from his original color to a bright orange. "Shit, shit!" Y/n said and went towards the old man. He didn't touch him, merely looked at him trying to see if something was going away.
