Peach: Throughout Tokyo, Japan is a city filled with corruption.
Amy: Yeah no shit. We got corrupted politicians, police officers, bosses, and even gym school teachers that abuse their power and prey on the weak.
Peach: Even worse as it turns out Japan has the highest number of convictions in the entire world as all of the trials have ended in guilty verdicts regardless on what defense you try to make.
Amy: Basically even if you're innocent of a crime you didn't commit once you go to court you have zero chances of innocence trying to prove your innocence. You're instantly locked up and the key is thrown away. That's the corrupted justice system for you my friends.
Peach: And yet there are those within the system who have a righteous heart of gold dedicated to bringing forward justice the right way.
Amy: Enter Makoto Niijima she alongside her older sister Sae are inspired to be like their dad to uphold justice. Too bad dear old dad got ran over by a truck while on duty.
Peach: Their father's death ultimately changed the two sisters while Sae went on to grow darker, bitter, and embrace the corruption within the system as a prosecutor, Makoto stayed in the light and attempted to find justice to protect the innocent.
Amy: Despite being a student council president of Shujin Academy there wasn't much Makoto could do. That all changed when she met a group of teenagers who turned out to be the vigilante group known as the Phantom Thieves of Hearts.
Peach: Through a phone app the Phantom Thieves traveled to a place called the Metaverse. Derived from the works of Carl Jung, this Collective Unconscious is like an alternate reality formed from the amalgamated thoughts and feelings of mankind. What humans believe, or even what they fear, directly shapes it.
Amy: And inside this crazy mental realm, those who have been corrupted by power and abuse the weak have become evil superpowers, just like how they're viewed by many of their victims in the real world victims like Ren, Ryuji, Ann, Futaba, Pancakes, and... the big head cat.
Peach: They may have been hopeless against crushing institutional might in the real world, but in the Metaverse, they had a way to fight back: Personas!
Amy: As part of the summoner's inner self, Personas can become incredibly powerful spirits.
Peach: By using their Personas to battle their foes in the Metaverse and steal their "Hearts", the source of their moral corruption, Ren and company could cause such foes to repent in the real world. So after joining the Phantom Thieves, Makoto earned her codename "Queen".
Amy: Now a member of the group fighting for justice our Queen here has a Persona of her own: Johanna. By ripping off her mask she can use this fucking motorcycle.
Peach: Outside of the usual moving at fast speeds, Johanna can cast atomic fire, leaving enemies burned, frozen, or shocked depending on the foe.
Amy: She can increase her durability, heal wounds and even from confusion, and even make her enemies forgot how they attack. Say while we're on the subject of Persona look at this mask I got.
Peach: Wait why do you have that mask on?
Amy: I'm trying to awaken my own Persona.
Peach: Wait Amy in order to awaken a Persona you have to-
Amy rips off the mask but screams in pain.
Amy: Damn it.... What the Hell? I didn't realize it.... hurts so much!
Peach: I tried to warned you. Sighs. Anyways while I go comfort Amy make sure you stay tuned next time form Makoto's opponent, Tifa Lockhart.
