I wake up the next morning with a pounding headache and red, puffy eyes with spots under them. I lazily roll out of bed and trudge over to where I left my duffel bag yesterday and grab some clothes out of it. I hear Cory stir in bed, and I look over to see him lying there looking at me.
"Morning, sunshine."
"Good morning, Cory. I'ma go take a shower. See you in a few minutes."
I lazily trudge down the hallway to the bathroom and jump into the warm shower, which was much needed. I have a habit of singing in the shower sometimes, and the song currently stuck in my head is Can't Feel My Face by The Weekend, so that was today's choice. I take a little extra time to let the water just run over me, and once I'm done, I dry off and hop out. Cory is standing in front of the mirror, and I jump because I didn't know he was in there. I didn't even hear the door open or close! I come up behind him and go on my tiptoes so I can rest my head on one of his shoulders.
"Aye! Looks like I can take a shower now!"
"How long have you been in here? I didn't even hear you come in."
"Long enough to know you're a great singer."
Cory smirks at me, and I blush in response.
"Shut up, I always sing in the shower! Don't judge me!"
"I'm not. It's cute and you're pretty good!"
"Well thanks. Now get in the shower so I can get dressed!"
Cory pulls his clothes off and hops in the shower. I unwrap my towel from myself and hear a wolf whistle coming from the shower. I squeal in response, and hear Cory's familiar chuckle bellowing from behind the shower curtain.
"Can you really see me?!"
"Nope, just your silhouette. I saw you throw the towel on the floor!"
"You're an asshole! I thought you actually saw me!"
"Nope! I wouldn't mind it if I did, though."
"Yeah....shut up Cores. I love you but it's not happening anytime soon."
"Anytime soon?! I still have a chance then!!!"
I roll my eyes at my boyfriend and quickly get dressed into a pair of Hollister shorts and a sleeveless flowered blouse.
"My boyfriend is a nerd!"
"And my girlfriend loves it!"
God, I do love that boy! I pull my hair into a side braid and top it off with a pink hair bow at the end of my braid to match my blouse.
"Hey Liv, I'm about to get out of the shower so you might wanna like cover your eyes, or leave or something. I know how you get with that kind of thing."
"Yeah, I'm done in here anyways, I'll meet you downstairs. Does Sandy even know I'm here yet?"
"Yeah, I told her what happened before I went to bed last night. She told me to tell you that you can stay here as long as you need to."
"Thanks baby. I'll see you soon!"
I walk out of the bathroom and shut the door behind me as I make my way towards the stairs. I stop in my tracks and head towards Cory and I's room so I can grab my phone, which might have been a mistake. 5 notifications and 6 messages. Who the fuck could it be? I've been with Cory all night. Maybe it's just Braden spazzing out or something....I hope. I check the notifications first. Two are update messages from Wattpad, but three are from Facebook. What in the hell? I haven't been on there in a really long time. Unlike most teenage girls, I'm not addicted to all that social media shit. I only have a Facebook because Samantha convinced me to make one in 8th grade. One of the Facebook notifications is from Samantha.
