Max pointed at Keigo, who was trembling, fizzing at the mouth, and groaning like a zombie. "Shit!" Cassidy snapped, darting up the stairs. Cassidy turned a quick turn at the corner of the hallway. She forced herself to ignore the burning pain and fear in her chest. Cassidy slipped into her room, opening the door and looking under her bed. She grabbed her shotgun, racing out of her room, shutting her door with her foot. She raced downstairs, shooting the infected kid without hesitation, ignoring the pain that shot through her as the recoil sent through her bones, shivering down her spine. That'd leave a few bruises. However, that didn't matter. What mattered was that her friends were safe. The infected kid turned, roaring in fury. Georgie and Jack screamed. Keigo turned to the screams, tackling the two boys and infecting them. Ace screamed in terror, running to hide. One of the infected boys ran after her. "Fuck!" Cassidy snapped. Andrew ran to the kitchen, searching frantically for a knife. Cassidy stood in front of Cam,aiming for the three infected children. Cassidy looked over as she heard Boa scream. The roars of the infected had lured more infected, and now they burst through the walls.
Boa pulled out her pistol and shot some of the infected, missing but getting most. Max poured water from a nearby bucket they had been using to stop leaks onto a few of the infected. The infection melted. "Water!" Max screamed. Cam raced to the kitchen, filling up water bottles and cups and splashing it everywhere. Max raced outside into the garden, returning with the hose, no longer able to move any further with the hose at its max distance. Max sprayed the whole place with water that they could reach, which wasn't much of the living room. Andrew three a knife at one of the infected, watching the knife just barley miss Ace. Cassidy glared at Andrew. "Watch it!" "Sorry!" Andrew yelled back. Boa jumped onto one of the infected, squishing it. "They're like mush!" She called out. Max dropped the hose, kicking some of the infected and joining in on the fight. Once all the infected people were dead, Cassidy lowered her shotgun. "Cam, you okay?" Cassidy called. Cam nodded from where she stood, staring in horror. "Boa?" Cassidy asked, looking around. Boa nodded. "Mhm." Boa grunted, putting her pistol under the couch. "Why'd-" Andrew started. Cassidy hushed him. "Max?" Cassidy asked. Max nodded. "Fine." Cassidy turned her gaze to the shaking Ace. "Ace, come here.." Ace raced over to Cassidy, burying herself in Cassidy's arms, who held her close. Cassidy looked around at the soaked, messed up, dirty ass living room. "Ugh.." Cassidy sighed. "C'mon, let's clean up a bit." Boa said, walking off to the kitchen to grab some cleaning supplies. Cam followed, entering the mossy and messy kitchen. Cassidy took the water vacuum and waited (not so patiently) for Andrew to mop up all the infection goo. Cassidy then vacuumed the living room, while everyone else helped clean somewhere in the house. "Cass, Max, you guys go work on the outside of the house. Stay nearby and don't go into the woods. We don't know how many infections are around." Boa said once they were all finished. "Andrew, Cam, come help me upstairs. Yes Cassidy, we'll stay out of your room." Boa added, glancing at Cassidy, who was glaring at her. "What about me?" Ace whispered. Boa glanced at Ace, then Cassidy. "Er...-" "You can help me and Max outside." Cassidy said, grasping her sister's hand.
