Skylar P.O.V
I am running through the woods panting, my calf's burning like crazy. I'm being chased by a pack for crossing their territory after running from my old pack. All of the sudden, I get bit on my left ankle and fall to the ground, I get punched in the face, and the world spins into darkness.
------------------------------------------------ Jakes P.O.V
'Alpha, we have a rougue. She was running after she crossed into pack territory. She is knocked out.'

Alpha- 'Ok, bring her too the pack house and we will ask her what she was doing on pack territory.'

I pick the mystery female up, and start to carry her to the pack house. She stirs in her sleep, mumbling 'I'm so sorry.' Why would she be thinking that?! Hell, she was probably going to be dead after alpha gets done with her anyways. Too bad, she is rather beautiful. We reach the pack house and I don't even bother knocking, I just walk to the Alphas office.

I wake up in someone's arms, and immediately I smell, woods and coffee. 'MATE!' My wolf screams that our mate is nearby and we need to go to him. A door swings open and the scent becomes stronger. I look up and see a man that looks like a gift from the gods and my breathing hitches. His brown hair falls perfectly over his hazel eyes, and through his white tee you can see his mouthwatering abs. He looks at me and freezes, sniffing the air and then coming closer to examine my bruised and bloody face.
'WHO DID THIS TO MY MATE?!' He takes me in his arms, and tingling sensations run through my body. He kisses my forehead and smirks down at me. 'Mine. All mine, my kitten.'
No doubt he was from the gods. 'I am nobody's. I am not an object.' I barely manage to squeak out as his eyes are filled with hurt and anger, and a growl erupted from him. 'YOU ARE MINE.' That was enough to silence me. 'Now, kitten, who did this to you?'

ake! Get your skimpy ass in here right now!' The boy with jet black hair and blue eyes comes in the room, and my "mate" has him pinned up against the wall by his throat in seconds. 'DON'T YOU DARE! EVER TOUCH MY MATE AGAIN IN ANY WAY WITH OUT PERMISSION! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?' 'Y-yes sir. I didn't know she was your m-mate.' 'Apologize and you will be forgiven.' 'I'm sorry Luna. I will never make a mistake like that again.' 'Don't call me Luna, call me Skylar. Please.'
