High~school

~chapter one~

Emma's POV.

It was the night before I start high school, I am honestly a nervous wreck. What happens if everyone hates me, or they think I am annoying, or something else.
I took a deep breath and lied down on my back , just staring at the ceiling. I then felt something fluffy lie down on my stomach.
“hey Butterfly” I greeted my cat as she purred.
“you're lucky, you know that” I said and she tilted her head a little.
“you don't have to go to school tomorrow, let alone high school” I said and she meowed and licked my cheek, then went to sleep. I huffed and then I dozed off.

(The next morning)

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, I sighed and got ready for school. I put on my white button-up shirt, my light blue skirt, my white high knee socks and I made two small braids and tied them together at the back of my head with a white bow,I grabbed my light purple back-pack, and put on my glasses.
“Emma come down stairs! ” my mom said and I sighed again.
“bye Butterfly ” I said .
I made my way down the stairs and saw my mom making bacon and eggs, my little sister and brother already dressed for school , waiting for their breakfast.
“morning midgets ” I said while ruffling me little brother Damian.
“morning BIBI” my sister Alyssa  said using my nickname, I smiled and went to my mom. I sat down on the kitchen counter waiting for my breakfast.
“you excited for school? ” my mom asked and I sighed.
“ready as I'll ever be ” I said and my mom smiled at me.
“still can't believe my oldest is starting high school” my mom said and I gave her a toothy grin.
“well believe it woman ” I said and she sighed with a smile still on her face.
“well here's you're breakfast” my mom said and I smiled at her. I jumped of the counter and sat at the dining table. After about 15 minutes I was done eating and went to brush my teeth, after that I went down stairs to see everyone waiting at the door. I took my bag and went to the car. I sat down in the front seat with my bag on my lap. My mom and my siblings got into the car and we dropped my siblings off at school and we drove to my new high school.
“ready? ” my mom asked and I nodded my head. I then got out of the car and started walking to the front gate. When I entered I saw a girl, she was wearing a white blazer meaning that she's a senior.
“welcome to crystal High school, I'll be you're tour guide ” she said and I smiled at her.
“it's nice to meet you I am Emma” I said holding her hand out for me to shake .
“Tatiana” she said while shaking my hand
“let's get you to you're class, what's you're full name? ” she asked while looking on a clipboard.
“Emma Lily Nightingale ” I said and she smiled at me.
“ok , please follow me” she said and I nodded.
“where are we going? ” I asked and she smiled.
“we're going to collect you're books for the year and then I am dropping you off at you're class” she said and I nodded. We then got all my books and she led me to a classroom on the top floor. She knocked at the door and a teacher with brown curly hair came to the door.
“come on in ” the teacher said and she also had a clipboard.
“what's you're name? ” she asked me.
“Emma Lily Nightingale” I said and she then looked up at the class and pointed to a seat next to a girl with brown hair that fades into blue, she has a mixture of green and blue eyes.
I went  and sar down next,to her.
“I am Skylar Pike” she said holding her hand out to me.

Skylar’s POV.

I was sitting in class playing a game on my phone when a girl sat next to me, she has dirty blonde hair, eyes that are a mix of blue and grey, and she has a pare of purple glasses . Feeling confident I introduced myself first.
“I am Skylar Pike” I said holding my hand out for her to shake.
“Emma Nightingale” she said and shook my hand 
“so what middle school you from? ” I asked looking at her with a cocky grin.
“I was homeschooled” she said with a smile.
“nice, I went to a private school” I said and she nodded.
“um wanna hang out at break? ” she asked and I smiled, I didn't have any friends just yet. I smiled at her.
“of course” I said and she smiled , after that I gave her my number.
