1 It came to pass that Calem and Serena did stand, hand in hand, at the sacred altar,

3  The ceremony was of ancient custom, replete with vows from the soul, and the strains of soft music.

4 Yea, the elders of their sacred house bestowed upon them blessings, that they might abide in love all their days.

5 Lo, as the moon did rise high above, its light cast an otherworldly glow upon the throng gathered therein.

6 Then did Calem and Serena exchange rings, even as tokens of their love, that it might be bound in eternity.

7 With a tender kiss did they seal their vows, as a testament of their union before God and man.

8 The folk did rejoice, and great was the gladness amongst them, for love had found its abode within the hearts of Calem and Serena.

10 The sound of mirth filled the air, and melodies played, making hearts merry.
