Today is August 15th, and my family and I are attending a reunion organized in memory of my grandmother. We all gathered at the cemetery where my grandmother is buried, to pay our respects and honor her life. The reunion is an opportunity for us to reflect on my grandmother's life, share stories, and celebrate her memory.
This morning, right before leaving for work, I received a parcel from someone. Because I was in a hurry, I didn't have time to open it, so I carelessly put it in my car. As a tattoo artist, I had to open my shop early, so I hurried to work, forgetting about the package. Unfortunately, this means I will be late for the reunion, which is scheduled to start at 4:30 PM.
After work, I went straight to the cemetery to meet my family for "Grandma Iris's Death Reunion." During the conversation, Uncle Jordan mentioned that his parcel for Mom might be late. That's when I remembered the package I had received earlier. "I have yet to open it since I was in such a hurry to open my shop today," I said. "Well then, get it! We'll wait," Mom said. I quickly went to my car and retrieved the package from the trunk. I returned to the reunion and sat down. "It looks heavy," said Dad. "Yes, but I managed to carry it," I replied.
I struggled with the packaging tape for a while, but it eventually ripped open. As I opened the first cardboard flap, a disgusting smell hit my nose. I immediately grimaced, but I continued to open the package. Inside, I saw something peach-coloured. The family gathered around me, forming a neat circle, and I started to open the last two cardboard flaps. As I opened them, we were horrified to see my grandmother's head inside the box.
