I thought I'd regret saying yes to Rain, but so far, it was the best decision I've made because he was happy.

And just like what his Mom and I agreed upon, we'll meet my family today.

"Hi." I smiled at my sisters and waved my hand a little right after they got out of the car.

"Hello," Lori shortly greeted back, while Lani just slightly smiled at me.

Those gestures made my chest tightened because I missed hugging them, but I just swallowed the pain and accompanied them inside the mansion.

Hindi ko sinabi sa kanila kung bakit bigla ko silang pinatawag kaya nagtataka sila, but at the same time ay namamangha habang inililibot ang paningin sa paligid.

It was the same reaction I had when I first stepped into this million dollar mansion because it was truly mesmerizing.

As we were walking toward the living room, Tita Raina went out of the kitchen and saw my family. But it took her a while to figure out who they were. She just realized when she noticed me beside them.

"Dra. Gracia Balmer!" she exclaimed—startling my sisters and mother, who looked at me using her wide eyes like she was asking for help, so I leaned closer to her to whisper.

"It's Tita Raina, Rain's mother and co-owner of MNC network."

Clearing her throat, my Mom smiled at Tita Raina, who stared at her extended hand with an unsure expression on her face before taking it with a chuckle.

"Tita, these are my sisters. Lani and Lori," I introduced after she and my Mom shook hands.

Scanning them from head to toe, she let out a half-supressed laughter and patted my shoulder.

"Loreen, hija. You own a clothing brand, yet you let your sisters wear those?"
