Band Camp Romance

" Mom, I can't go to band camp any more." I yelled. "Um, yes you are" she yells back. "None of my friends are going" I say to change her mind. "What! But Annie, Abbey, Grace, Luke, and Ethan. They're all going." I sigh. "They signed up for the Texas A&M one, not Baylor." My mom walks in my room. "Awh sweetie, I'm sorry but I paid too much for this to go to waste. Start packing now" She walks out with her laundry in hand. I roll my eyes and start packing. I turn on my charging iPhone to music and play "Uma Thurman" from Fall Out Boy which is my favorite song at the moment. I grab my black oversized suitcase from my closet. I bring my PINK sweaters and a pair of leggings from Forever 21. By noon I have all my clothes picked out and in my suitcase. I go to my bathroom and grab my toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, mouthwash, Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner, dove body wash, a loofah, hair accessories, a hair brush, and towels. I rush back to my room fearing everything will fall and let go of my grip on my bed and finish packing. I u charge my phone and put it, my charger, and headphones in my purse and head downstairs. I put everything in the car and we head for a 2 hour trip from Dallas. I sigh again and text my friends " see you in 2 weeks" and they all reply "we're sorry, have fun!" which makes me roll my eyes and listen to music. After what seems forever my parents stop at Starbucks and we all get drinks, my parents got black coffee (ew) and I got a s'mores frap without coffee because I'm a strange teenager. I take a picture and post it on tumblr since I haven't posted in a month. "Baylor is only 10 minutes away so start gathering your stuff" my dad says. " Alright dad" and I gather all my stuff.
"Your in Kokernot Hall, got it?" My mom asked. "Yes, bye I love you" I grabbed bags and hugged my parents. I ran inside and got my key and ran to my room 358 and walked inside.
