**tanya's pov**

so today i have seen a certain someone and im excited. i dont understand why but every time i even think of her i get giddy, probably because she is the hottest girl in my entire year, krithina. i have had a crush on her ever since my eyes glanced at her dark, chocolaty ones. oh how dreamy they were i could just fall into them.

my day dreaming got cut short as i heard the incessant arguing of my best friends: kaarthika and aashna. they argue all the time about the stupidest things but of course they make up 5 minutes later to share food. i finally jumped into the conversation to see what was going on.

"you guys keep on arguing in my ear, what is it now?" i ask in mock irritation as my gaze flickered to krithina. she was brushing her long, flowing hair as if she was an indian rapunzel. well her looks definitely fit the role. a slight smirk adorned her face as she texted someone on her phone. my mind finally goes back to aashna and kaarthika from their nonstop clicking and clapping in my face, trying to get my attention back onto them. aashna gave me a knowing smile as she saw who my eyes were on.

"HELLO TANYAAAA BACK TO EARTH STOP DAY DREAMING," kaarthika yelled in my face but it was no use as my eyes still lingered on krithina. even if i liked krithina, i know she would never like me back. she is straight and has had many boyfriends before which kinda makes me intimidated. how can i compete against her ex boyfriends who look like models straight from teen vogue?

i stood up as the door of our class opened, showing Sam in all her glory with a cheerful grin. thank everything that it wasnt Amani (made up person) otherwise i would have retched. the way amani so obviously throws herself onto krithina makes my blood really boil. i should be the one touching krithina, not the other way around!

my legs started hurting so i sat down in a random chair i found in my class and i got a front row seat of Amani trying to flirt with Krithina. the happiness i felt when krithina disgustedly pushed her off and walked away was crazy. krithina put her phone in her pocket and started walking, squeezing her best friend's bum when i felt a hand on mine.

i looked up to see krithina with a wide grin as cheeky as the cheshire cat. a flustered look appears on my face as krithina pushed some of my hair behind my ear.

"so tanya, i've seen that you have been checking me out. who would have though that tanya, the really pretty amd sarcastic straight girl would be checking me out?" krithina said as she inched towards me  and held my hand. her big, cold hand was slotted in my small, warm one as she stared down at me. it was so hot how she could make me quiver with just one glance.

"what? thats bullshit im straight idiot," i said in a convincing tone, with my casual, satirical facade. on the inside i was really dying and crumbling because of everything she said.

"i know i wasnt imagining that baby~" krithina states with another one of her grins as she picked me up bridal style, making me yelp. i remember about oir surroundings and nervously look around us to see everyone staring, even the quiet ones. my face goes a shade of pink i cant describe and krithina put me down but not before whispering something in my ear.

"that was to show you how easily i can throw you on the bed baby~"
