Jonathan cracks his knuckles while looking at Carol as she wastes no time and flies straight at the hybrid with her fists crackling with photonic energy; Jonathan stops her using a thunderclap and speed blitz before delivering an uppercut that sends her through the roof of the space station as Carol spins out of control and slams into the moon itself

Carol groans having actually felt that punch, there were only a few people she knew that hurt her and now she facing someone that just sent her all the way over to the moon itself alas she wasn't given a chance as Jonathan slammed Carol's face into the ground single-handedly and forcefully dragged her across the surface of the moon; Carol uses one of her free hands and tries to blasts Jonathan in the face making him his head slightly to the move to the right evidently dodging the beam of energy

There's something I want to test out...

Jonathan says to himself mentally before stopping and throwing Carol upwards with the same hand he had used to drag her, Carol manages to steady herself as Jonathan's eyes glow red as he fires his heat vision fortunately Carol is quick to react and counters with her own energy as both opposing beams clash in the middle of space; Carol purposely loosens up on her end making the heat vision hit her dead on

She absorbs the heat vision as Jonathan smirks a little seeing that his sneaking suspicion was proven right nonetheless he could only assume there was a limit to how much energy she could absorb before it was all released and even if there wasnt; he didn't need to rely solely on his heat vision as he is met a swift punch across the face and another one to his stomach before being grabbed by his shoulders and getting thrown to the surface of the moon

Captain Marvel:Who's laughing now, huh?!

Jonathan stands up having been caught off guard by those two punches, if his mother was here she would have told him to be aware of his opponent at all time; he wasn't going to let his ego dictate the outcome of this fight as he took a deep breath and honed his silence as Carol saw her opening and used the energy she had absorbed and redirected it back at Jonathan

Only for him to hold up his hand and block it before ultimately kneeling down with his fists balled up and pressed down on the ground as the small pebbles on the moon began to levitate; Carol felt something change about this fight as she stayed ready for anything that he was going to throw her way alas she wasn't prepared for Jonathan to just appeared in front of her and hit her extremely hard

Jonathan didn't hesitate as he hit with another one as Carol only flew further away from the moon as he gave chase and caught up her almost immediately as he started to punch her so hard; she practically bounced around as Jonathan pinpointed where she was going to be and intercepted her another punch
