The dimly lit room reeked of damp concrete and a stale smoke, the only light available was the one that peeked through the window at the top corner.
Y/n sat tied to a metal chair, her heart pounding in her chest. She felt every emotion possible yet the most visible one was nausea.
The side effects from the poison were taking a massive toll on her and what she did realize was that they gave her an antidote for the poison other wise the pain from before would be coursing through her body.
After what felt like hours, the door creaked open and a tall figure stepped inside. He had orange hair and face piercings.
He approached with a calm, calculated demeanor, an annoyed expression resting on his face.
Another tall figure stepped out from the shadows, cloaked in a long, flowing robe littered with red clouds.
"What's your name child?" I raised my head to look at the orange-haired man. My eyes widened in horror. The rinnegan. The chained around my body tightened making me shift uncomfortably.
"You won't get anything from me." The chains tightened more digging into my skin causing me to stifle a cry.
Pein's eyes narrowed, intrigued. "We'll see about that. Perhaps a little...persuasion will help. Sasori." He called out and another figure emerged from the darkness on the right of me.
"Ready for a little chat?" I squinted my eyes up at him. He looked different. This time he had short red hair and more human-like features.
With a flick of his wrist, he summoned one of his puppets, a slender figure that emerged from the shadows behind him. The puppet's eyes glowed ominously, and its metal limbs clinked together as they moved.
"Meet my friend, the 'interrogator'" Sasori gestured in a presenting manner. "He's quite good at drawing out information."
I clenched my jaw but remained silent, refusing to show fear. Sasori stepped closer, leaning in, his voice low. "You know, I've always been fascinated by the human body...the way it reacts under pressure. What will you do when you reach your breaking point?"
Before I could respond, the puppet lunged forward, its metal fingers reflecting off the dim light. It hovered inches away from my face, sending shivers down my spine.
"You can choose to cooperate," Sasori said in almost a playful tone. "or we can make this uncomfortable. You're far too valuable to waste, but only if you share what we need."
"Go to hell." I spat back matching his playful demeanor. Sasori sighed, a weight of disappointment crossed him. "That's such a shame. It really is..." He nodded and the puppet's fingers began manipulating the chains that settled on my wrists.
I winced but forced myself to meet his gaze. "You think I'll allow you to break me?" I laughed.
'If anything I'm going to kill every single one of you. Starting with that immortal duo of yours.' I thought.
"Perhaps," Sasori replied, his tone was suddenly serious. "But I've seen stronger men fall." He leaned closer, his eyes narrowing.
"Who else is with you? What are your plans?" I swallowed hard and closed my eyes. "I won't betray my village."
"You're making this difficult. I can prolong your suffering, you know. Hours can turn into days." The chain around one of my ankles tightened, and then a pop was heard. "Fuck you!" I cursed throwing my head back.
"I'll die before I tell you shit." I spat out bitterly. The throbbing pain in my ankle only increased as he tightened the chains once again. "Such a dramatic statement!" Sasori laughed.
"Then perhaps, I'll remind you of the pain I can inflict on you." He reached into a container on the wooden table and grabbed a needle. "This little thing can cause immense pain without even leaving a mark!" He smiled in a crazed way.
With another flick of his wrist, the needle was plugged into my arm. "Give it a second. In the meantime let's talk before the pain settles in and you're unable to."
He leaned against the wall, arms crossed, and studied you. "You know, your village has secrets. Ones that can be beneficial for the Akatsuki. The defenses, strategies, and also the jinjuruki."
"Shut up already!" I shot through my gritted teeth. The effects of the poison started to enter my body. "You ninja pathetically protect a village who doesn't give a damn about you. Only your power. What you can do to protect your village."
"Shut the fuck up!" I shouted in a pained shout. "To them, you're just a number but in the Akatsuki, we value every little thing. Everything we do is for a good cause in the end."
You let out an antagonizing cry. "I see you're feeling it now. That's just the beginning. The real fun is about to start."
