Why did Thursday had to be a workday? Who made these rules? What were they thinking!?

Jungkook was cussing at everything he saw around.

His head already hurt due to the beers he chugged last night and on top of that-
How was he supposed to go to work and FACE TAEHYUNG!?!?!

He freaking kissed him! That's great for sure but that was an accident! Taehyung had no sense, no mind nothing when that happened so ofcourse that guy isn't gonna remember a single shit! But Jungkook remembers every detail, why!?

He didn't understand himself honestly. Just two days ago he was dying to kiss Taehyung and now when it happened- he doesn't know what to do.

Well the whole situation is to blame tbh.

He couldn't even give excuse of being ill cause his boss lives just nearby and had already seen him in morning, being all fine.

Oh right- it was 31st as well.. means they'd be getting a few days off from tomorrow; no way Taehyung was gonna give him one more day off.

He had to go..

And at work- as if his legs were suddenly robotic; they'd turn the other way everytime Taehyung would show up.

"I have to look for him other days and today when I just don't want to- he's all over the office!"

Taehyung wasn't dumb nor blind. He noticed his behavior,
"What's with him suddenly? Is he ignoring me or sumn'? Um- good though"

Liar! Then why are you keeping eyes on him all time heh?

"Jungkook"

Younger stilled,
"Y-Yes?"

"Sunhee said you found a BG chart"

"Um yea- I did"

"Send it to me"

"Ohkay.."

"..You're sick or so–"

"NO!? I'm good!"
Taehyung gave a look but left him be.

Beom noticed the last part of their conversation. Actually, everyone could see Jungkook was being weird- I mean they knew he's weird but he was being weirdly weird today.

"Uh Jungkook?"

"YEa?"

"Are you ok really?"

"Yep, totally"
Jungkook nodded strongly and noticed Taehyung was staring so looked away.

Beom saw that,
"Just asking.. did anything happen between you.. two?"

Jungkook's little wide eyed reaction was enough,
"Nah~ what will happen? I- I'm just excited for the new year you know~?"

Such a bad liar he is–

"Oh- ok, me too"

"RIght~? Advance Happy new year Beom"
He smiled widely and laughed to himself. Beom greeted back awkwardly.

Even if Jungkook managed to pass the day; how would he pass the night?

The group was literally gonna do a small party at Jin's place this time and welcome the new year together.

He tried to make a melodrama but Hoseok and Sohee made sure to pull his ass all way to the eldest's house.

Jimin, Yoongi and Taehyung came together. And for once Taehyung or Jimin- none were the last to reach.

Jungkook was trying to ignore his nervousness by helping Jin with some food but when he saw Taehyung walking in with all his glory.. he lost it again.

"HyuNG! I'm gonna go help noona at rooftop!"
He dashed.
