Maybe In Another Universe?

Prologue

"So you're saying that, you came from another universe and stumbled upon Earth while you were exploring with your brother?" said a young girl named Yana.
"I'm guessing you don't believe me?", said another boy named Luca, he was a new transfer student. "Then come with me after school to the forest where me and my brother first came. I'll show you our tent and hideout." He said with a smirk.

So after school, Yana was walking towards a forest, with a super suspicious boy whom she literally met this afternoon in astrology class. Crazy right? She didn't care even if she got kidnapped, her passion and curiosity towards the multiverse was greater than her fear of being kidnapped.

After walking for about an hour, they arrived at a river.
"We're almost there. We just need to cross this river and then- we'll see the camp and hopefully my brother." Luca said the last couple of words with a dazed look on his face, his gaze unfocused as of he was remembering a past distant memory.
"Did something happen to your brother?" Yana asked, curious after seeing Luca's expression. Luca sighed.
"He got taken away by the zaries- a gang of thieves from my universe."
Yana felt sorry for him, she wanted to offer some comfort but before she could do anything, he pulled her inside a clump of bushes.

"What are you doi-?", Luca covered her mouth with his hand and showed a silence gesture with his other hand. Then he looked over the bushes and saw some thugs searching the camp.
"They are the zaries, they are here for me. Listen carefully, go about 100m north, there's a cave there. Wait for me inside it, I'll be there soon." Luca said in a tone of complete seriousness and authority.

Yana followed his orders and went towards the cave. She entered it and it looked like someone had been living there, she assumed it was Luca and waited for him. Eventually, she got bored and lost track of time. Then suddenly a handkerchief was placed on her face and she felt nauseous. She turned around to see who it was and she wished that she wouldn't have turned around. It was Luca.

Upon regaining her consciousness, she was surrounded by the thugs from earlier or the so-called zaries and Luca.
"I knew that i shouldn't have trusted you! It was all a lie right? You being from another universe, your brother getting kidnapped, everything about you was a lie!" Yana said furiously, she wanted to punch his handsome face and break all his bones!
"Hold on, how do you know about my brother?", said the boy standing infront of her.
"What do you mean? Didn't you tell me about him?" Yana asked him with a glare, but then she noticed something weird. Luca had grey eyes. But this boy infront of her had blue eyes? That's when she realised that Luca wasn't here at all!

"You're not.... Luca, are you?", Yana asked. Before she could get an answer, the actual Luca barged in. The zaries were immediately alert but before they could lay a finger on him the other boy who was Luca's twin told them to stop. Luca came face-to-face with his twin.
"Max?.....How are you-no why? Why are you with them?" Luca said on the verge of a mental breakdown, frozen to the ground.
"Luca, my dear brother, it's been a long time since we last met!", said Max, Luca's twin."I'm afraid we can't stay here any longer, time to go back home, don't you think?"

"What's wrong with you? And what do you mean by 'go home'? We are not leaving until you get back to your senses.", said Luca.
"Sir Maxwell, we don't have much time left.", said one of the zaries.
"You don't have a choice Luca. I will explain everything about the zaries later. Right now, I'm their leader.", said Max, he then took out a cylindrical stick and threw it upwards. A bright flash of blinding white light erupted and the cave was empty once again with on one but Yana who stood there confused from the drama she just watched.

Strangely, when Yana went back to school the next day, on one rememberd Luca and there was no record of him at all! That made Yana think that maybe there was a multiverse after all and maybe Max had some sort of special abilities or maybe it was just a story made up by her because she was bored in class, who knows?
