Jimin sat on the edge of the bed, his eyes drifting toward the laptop illuminated by the soft glow of the screen. His husband, Jungkook, was deeply engrossed in his work, fingers tapping away at the keyboard, brow furrowed in concentration. Jimin watched him, feeling a pang of loneliness wash over him. He wanted Jungkook's attention, wanted to feel the warmth of his husband's gaze, but he didn't know how to break through the focus that had settled over Jungkook like a heavy blanket.

With a small sigh, Jimin decided to make his presence known. He leaned over, playfully nudging Jungkook's shoulder. "Hey, can you take a break for a minute?"

"Jimin, not now," Jungkook replied, his voice strained as he didn't even glance away from the screen. Jimin felt a familiar sting of disappointment but tried again.

"Come on, just a little break?" He poked Jungkook's side, trying to coax a smile from him. Instead, Jungkook's annoyance flared.

"Jimin, I said I'm busy!" Jungkook snapped, his voice sharper than intended. Jimin recoiled as if he'd been struck. The sharpness in Jungkook's tone felt like a blade cutting into him.

Jimin bit his lip, hurt swelling inside him. He nodded silently, wrapping his arms around his knees. A few moments passed, and he felt tears prick at the corners of his eyes. Unable to hold back, he buried his face into the pillow, muffling the soft sobs that escaped him. It felt as though the world had crumbled around him, and he couldn't understand why a simple request for attention had turned into this.

The emotional turmoil twisted in his stomach, a gnawing pain that seemed to worsen as he cried quietly under the covers. The muffled sounds of his distress filled the room, but Jungkook was too absorbed in his work to notice.

Time slipped by, and Jimin's breaths grew shallow, each inhale bringing with it a tinge of discomfort. The pain in his stomach intensified, becoming sharp and all-consuming. He pressed a hand against his abdomen, hoping to soothe it, but the warmth of his palm did little to alleviate the growing ache.

Hours later, Jungkook finally pushed away from his laptop, stretching his arms above his head and yawning. As he looked around the dimly lit room, his heart sank at the sight before him. The covers were pulled high, and a muffled sound came from beneath them-Jimin's cries.

"Jimin?" Jungkook rushed to the bed, his heart racing with concern. He pulled back the covers, and what he saw sent shockwaves through him. Jimin was curled up, tears streaming down his cheeks, his face pale. His hands clutched his stomach, and a dark stain spread across the sheets.

"Jimin!" Jungkook's voice cracked as panic surged through him. He knelt beside the bed, frantically checking his husband's condition. "What happened? Are you okay?"

Jimin could only shake his head, tears spilling from his eyes. The pain felt unbearable, and the reality of the situation began to set in. Jungkook's frantic movements were a blur as he reached for his phone.

"I'm calling for help. Just hold on!" His voice was shaky, and Jimin could see the fear etched across Jungkook's features. The sound of sirens grew closer, filling the air with an urgency that mirrored Jungkook's racing heart.

Within moments, paramedics arrived, efficiently assessing the situation. Jimin's breaths were shaky, the pain ebbing and flowing like a relentless tide. They lifted him onto a stretcher, and Jungkook stayed close, gripping Jimin's hand tightly.

"Please, don't leave me," Jimin whispered, his voice barely above a whisper, filled with a mixture of fear and desperation.

"Never. I'm right here," Jungkook reassured him, his grip firm. He climbed into the ambulance beside Jimin, his heart pounding as the medical team worked around them.

As they drove, Jimin felt the pain intensifying. Confusion and fear clouded his mind, but Jungkook's presence grounded him. After what felt like an eternity, they arrived at the hospital. Medical staff swiftly moved Jimin onto a hospital bed, and Jungkook stood by, feeling utterly helpless.

The doctors moved quickly, asking Jimin questions, and Jungkook watched anxiously as they examined him. The words "bleeding" and "pregnancy" floated around, and Jungkook's heart sank further with every second.

"Pregnant?" Jungkook echoed, disbelief painting his voice. He had no idea.

"Jimin, you're pregnant?" he asked, his voice filled with concern as he looked at his husband, who was now more frightened than ever.

Jimin nodded, tears streaming down his face. "I didn't know. I-I thought it was just stress and belly fat."

The realization hit Jungkook like a freight train. "I'm so sorry, Jimin. I didn't know," he murmured, guilt flooding him. He wished he had noticed sooner, wished he had been more attentive.

In the chaos that followed, the doctors prepared for an emergency delivery. Jungkook held Jimin's hand tightly, whispering soothing words, trying to offer comfort amidst the chaos.

"You're going to be okay. I'm here," he promised, watching Jimin's face contort with pain as the doctors worked efficiently around them. The moments felt endless, but finally, after a storm of tension, a small, fragile cry filled the room.

A tiny baby, swaddled in a blanket, was placed in Jimin's arms. Jungkook's heart soared and broke simultaneously. Tears streamed down his face as he watched his husband, exhausted yet radiant, holding their newborn.

"I'm sorry," Jungkook whispered, kneeling beside the bed, feeling a mixture of love and remorse. "I should have been there for you. I'm so sorry for everything."

Jimin looked at him, the pain in his eyes softening as he gazed down at their child. "It's okay, Kookie. We're together now. That's what matters."

Jungkook leaned down, pressing a kiss to Jimin's forehead, the warmth of their love enveloping them. In that moment, amidst the chaos and the pain, they had found their way back to each other. A new chapter began, filled with love, healing, and a tiny heartbeat that promised endless possibilities.
