Dorm 154

Chapter 2

"You are going to share a dorm" the boys complaints immediately started happening. "This is not up for discussion. Go pack your bags, go to the nurse as well, your new dorm number is 154."

The boys left the office groaning all the way, Liam and Max to their dorms, Connor and Henry to the nurses. After a few hours Max was the first one outside the dorm but quickly realised he had no key to get inside so instead just leaned on the wall and stood outside. The Henry and Liam arrived and Max explained the situation, the tenseness between the 3 of them obvious with their sour faces and their words covered in hatred. Connor arrives a while later which had Liam scoffing "Late as always". Connor quickly snapped back "Shut up Liam." He paused and looked between the door and everyone else, "Why are you all outside?"

Max sighed before explaining, "We don't have the keys to enter", Conner rolled his eyes before going over to the door muttering 'idiots' under his breath. He opened the door which turned out to be left open before he turned to the others. "The keys are probably inside." All the boys went inside the dorm, it was calm for a minute before they all started arguing over whose room was whose.

After finally deciding who got which room they all started unpacking.

Max started at his desk, putting all his books on top of the desk before putting his clothes in the wardrobe and drawers, he made his bed next, hiding a small brown bear under his pillow.

Connor just dumped his bag on the floor called it a day too hopeful THSI wouldn't last long and he could leave this hell hole of a dorm soon.

Henry unpacked his awards putting them on his desk on display, he also hung up some photos of his family around the room before dumping his clothes in his wardrobe.

Liam unpacked all his clothes gently folding his clothes placing them into the wardrobe and drawers before making his bed and put his drawing equipment on his desk with a notepad.

Max was the first one done and decided to look around while Connor laid on his bed playing game son his phone, Henry decided to watch tv and Liam kept moving things in his room to make them perfect.

Max made his way to the kitchen ignoring the sound of tv in the background. In the kitchen there was a basket with a note, he picked the note up and read it, the note said:

Dear Max, Connor, Liam and Henry,

Your missed biology project was a task to look after an egg for 4 weeks, it cannot get broken of cracked. The egg has been implanted with a heat detector so whenever it gets cold it will start to cry. Not literally, just makes a crying noise and it won't turn off until it is warm again. You will need to watch over it and keep it safe and check its needs. It will also start crying at random times during the night to show you what it is like with a real child. And no, you cannot buy a new egg or leave it to one person.

Max stared at the nite reading it over before looking into the basket to see the egg and a blanket. "Yo, idiots! Get in here!" He called for the others, gradually they came over and Max handed them the note.
