"You are so goddamn annoying!" Narcissa yelled at me as she smacked my face.

My hand went to my check, where it stung, tears swelling in my eyes.

"You are nothing. You deserve nothing. You're mean and selfish. You're ugly. You deserve nothing!" She yelled, progressively getting louder while kicking my legs.

I yelled as I fell to the ground. "Please, I'm sorry, let me go," I cried, begging her to stop.

"NO, you are a complete useless brat," she yelled, grabbing her dagger.

She slowly bent down and pressed the dagger against my wrist. She immediately shoved the tip into my skin, causing me to scream out in pain.

"Stop, please, I didn't do anything; it wasn't my fault; please, it hurts," I cried.

"Oh, yes, you did do something, my dear; yes, you did," she laughed. "I'm going to let you go now, but you must not tell anyone about this, you understand."

I nodded my head yes, and as soon as she let go of my arm, I sat up with a start.

"Are you okay?" Hermione asked while looking at me worriedly.

"Yeah, sorry, it was just a nightmare, I responded, looking down at my hands.

"Okay, come on, it's time to get changed into our robes," she said.

I nodded. Ginny and I got up and followed her to the washroom, where we changed.

Once we were back into the cart, I looked out the window to see one of the most amazing sights I've ever seen, the Hogwarts train station. We got out of the cart and off the train to hear a man yelling, "First year's over, come first year's, this way!"

"That's Hagrid. He's really nice and fun; you'll love him." Harry said to me.

I nodded and said my thanks and byes. I walked over to where Hagrid was.

Hagrid was really tall, and he had a long beard and hair. "And what might your name be, little one?" he asked when I walked over to him.

"Amalia," I said, smiling at him.

Once everyone was there, he walked us over to the boats. Dad had said that that was how the first years came to the castle and how it was the best view he's ever seen. Hagrid beckoned us in boats.

I got into a boat with Ginny and another girl, who I think said her name was Luna. The students started singing songs I've never heard before, but Luna and Ginny didn't know them either. Then, out of nowhere, we took a turn, into the most beautiful sight I've ever seen.

The castle was illuminated with the lights of hundreds of candles, the moon was shining light onto it at the most amazing spot, and the brick and stone work was just increadable.

I smiled knowing my dad came this way too.
