"and i think he likes me?"
Chenle's eyes widened as he sipped his coffee, his gaze locked on Jiwon's frazzled expression. "So, he bought you a car too?" he asked, his voice laced with curiosity.
Jiwon rubbed her temples, feeling overwhelmed. "I think I'm going crazy," she confessed, her words tumbling out in a rush. "Why is he being so nice to me all of a sudden? It's like he's trying to buy my affection or something." Her brow furrowed, deep in thought.
Chenle's smirk hinted at a secret understanding. "I think he likes you," he said, his voice low and measured. Jiwon's eyes darted open, her face flushing at the suggestion.
"What the fuck Chenle, don't say that!" she exclaimed, her words tinged with panic. The mere thought made her jittery, her mind racing with possibilities. She sought to rationalize Eunseok's actions, to calm the flutter in her chest.
"He's just trying to make amends" Jiwon reasoned, attempting to convince herself. "Nothing more." But her racing heart betrayed her, refusing to listen to reason.
Chenle's knowing gaze lingered, and Jiwon shifted uncomfortably, her eyes avoiding his.
Liking? Love? Why does this feels so weird to her? Her mind swirled as she conversed. He's a mafia medic and she's a soon to be doctor, their differences were terrifying. she wondered will that pace will ever come?
When she'll fall in love with someone.

Jiwon sloppily slid into the car, raising an eyebrow at Eunseok. "And you're here again?" she muttered, her tone laced with a mix of amusement and resignation.
Eunseok flashed her a brief smile as he started driving. "How was your day?" he asked, his voice smooth and conversational. Jiwon hummed, gently tapping her thighs, her eyes drifting out the window.
"Tiresome but good," she replied, her voice distant. Her hand hovered over the radio dial, but she hesitated, seeking permission. "Can I?" she asked, nodding toward the radio.
Eunseok darted his gaze from the road to her, his expression softening. "You don't have to ask, you know," he muttered, his voice tinged with gentle reprimand.
Jiwon's lips curved into a warm smile as she turned on the radio. A soft ballad filled the car, wrapping them in a soothing melody. The tension dissipated, replaced by a comfortable silence.
As they drove, the music wove a tranquil atmosphere, Eunseok's eyes flicking between the road and Jiwon's serene profile.
Jiwon's gaze drifted inward, her mind clouded by the sudden awareness of his piercing stare. Her heart skipped a beat, its rhythm faltering. She inhaled deeply, attempting to calm herself. What was happening to her? Was her heart betraying her, or was it something more?
Eunseok's gentle inquiry snapped her back to reality. "Are you okay angel?" he asked, concern etched on his face. Jiwon shook her head, embarrassment washing over her.
As they pulled up to her house, Eunseok nodded toward the door. "We're here." Jiwon's gaze lingered on him before she turned away, her cheeks warming.
But she couldn't shake off the feeling, and her eyes found their way back to Eunseok. "Umm, do you want to come inside?" The invitation slipped out, unplanned.
Eunseok's eyes widened slightly, his hesitation palpable. For a moment, Jiwon wondered if she'd overstepped. Then, with a subtle nod, he accepted.
"Okay," he said softly, his voice sending a shiver down her spine.
