The dinner was by far one of the best things that Theo has agreed to. And it was a perfect way to talk to the other drivers to see if they would like photos done. Most agreed, which made Theodore smile.
The entire night was full of laughter and food. Ella gossiped with Lando, Oscar, and Carlos. And Theo talked mostly with Lando, Carlos and Max (Theo nearly had a heart attack when Max began to talk to him). But who Theo really wanted to talk to was Charles. He sat in silence during the beginning of the dinner but slowly came out of his shell. The other drivers didn't bring up Alexandra, the breakup, just if he was doing okay and then let it go.
Theo couldn't help but basically stare at the driver for most of the dinner, but just as Charles would look at him he would quickly look away. It was quite embarrassing. At the end of the night Theo said his goodbyes to Lando and Oscar as he thanked them for the invitations. Ella thanked the boys by hugging them, she's always been a touchy person, and kissing their cheeks. Oscar pulled away with a red face.
"See you at the next race?" Lando questions, leaning in to the window of the car. Theo smiles.
"Of course."

A/n: Next chapter will be when Charles and Theo have a real conversation. I swear. Anyways next race is Japan!!
