Chapter #13 (Mann vs Machine)

The chapter begins with the witches having a short break from the screening so they stretch some muscles, have some lunch, go on bathroom breaks and discuss their thoughts on the videos. We see the Red Team chatting with the Green Team and Blue Team.

Akko: You know, I'm kinda liking this whole thing!

Hannah: How so?

Akko: Well, these mercenaries are obviously dangerous but something about them makes them unique and hilarious. It's like they're way different to some normal mercenaries. Also, the roles they have, it's like they're like video game characters.

Diana: (Confused) Video what now?

Akko: It's- Actually, I'll explain that to you some day. Knowing you're all super studious and a star student, I doubt you have any knowledge about it.

Diana: Right....

Sucy: (Contemplates) Hmm....

Jasminka: Is there something wrong, Sucy?

Sucy: Remember the Meet the Spy video?

Barbara: Yeah? What about it?

Sucy: I don't why but I think Spy has some kind of connection to Scout.

Lotte: What makes you say that?

Sucy: The way he acts when he disguised himself as Scout, he perfectly acts the mannerism and behaviour of Scout. Like he knows him on a personal level.

Amanda: Huh, now that you mentioned it. It kinda looks that way.

Constanze: Maybe he's Scout's dad?

Hannah: I highly doubt that, there's no way that man is the Scout's father. Their personalities are like a complete opposite to each other!

Sucy: Maybe...

After a few moments, everyone is now back at their seats as they wait for the next footage.

Nelson: Alright! Let's see what we have next...

Teresa: What do you girls think the next one is about?

Henrietta: Probably not too important.

Molly: Maybe it is important.

Nelson: Eh? What the heck?

Holbrooke: What is it, Professor Nelson?

Nelson: This C.D. is called.... Mann vs Machine...

Gaëlle: Man vs Machine?

Mary: Like Terminator?

Nelson: Only one way to find out.

(The Calm plays) The video opens to what looked like an abandoned compound covered in snow.
